Functional Good-Looking Glider For New Parents
We got this for the nursery for the new baby. We saw a bunch of expensive gliders in stores, but my wife was never sure we needed it, and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Well, rest assured, we needed it. The baby loves her rocking before bed ritual, and this does the job. It’s a glider, so won’t grind dirt marks into your floor like my mom’s old rocker did. We have hardwoods, so a glider is the way to go.My wife doesn’t like the ottoman, she just rocks. I personally love to put my feet up and glide on it. It’s a nice touch I didn’t think I would enjoy (gimmick?) but really ended up liking a lot.Why not 5 stars? It’s very good, but not top notch. The arms aren’t as padded as I like, so when I rest my elbows there to hold the baby they sometimes will get pins and needles. Also, one of the clips for the holder had the wrong gender of snap on it so I couldn’t snap both sides together, only one. We didn’t bother to send that back since, well hello newborn, and it rocks, so we lived with it, but the fact that they can make such an obvious mistake keeps them at the 4 star level as well.There’s lot of colors to choose from, but unfortunately not one that matched the baby furniture we got from Costco. It’s not bad, though, and the stain is good. The rest of the padding is pretty good as well, just not super comfy. Still, for the price we paid, this was definitely worth it and we’d recommend it to new parents on a budget that don’t want to spend $400+ on a glider for a couple years of use. Just be sure to get a blanket or some padding to put on the arms if you plan to rest your arms there to support a baby.

Just what I was looking for!!
Very cute! Only took my husband and I 15-20 minutes to put together. I was nervous because some reviews mentioned it being small or not suitable for taller people but I’m 5’7” and 200 pounds (7 months pregnant) and I think the chair is pretty comfortable! No issues with feet touching the ground/comfortability. My husband also tried it out and agreed, I haven’t gotten out of it since we assembled it lol! Perfect addition to my son’s nursery 🙂

It’s ok
So far the actual chair itself seems solid and of good construction. It glides well and it’s comfortable. My problem is with the cushions. The arm one won’t stay on and now all the padding fell from the original spot and it’s all bunched up. Then the big cushion- the buttons WERE glued on, not sewn- they fell off and the glue left 4 blue marks on it. The strings to attaching the cushion to the chair were just barely sewn on but also had that glue on them and that’s ripping too. So I’m pretty disappointed in that aspect. I guess I can try to find replacement padding, but it’s frustrating that it barely lasted.

The Glider is damaged and it is very distressing as it was a gift for my severely disabled Daughter. $580 is a lot of money for a Pensioner. This item was obviously unsuitable for sale but unfortunately I was the person it was delivered to. Still waiting to hear back from Amazon as Australia post will not except the item to send on as it is to bulky. Amazon said they would be ringing me back on 23rd and still waiting to hear back. I won’t hold my breath.Amazon have also asked me to pay for the return and they will reimburse myself for the return and again not holding my breath. Extremely disappointed and hopefully will be able to purchase through another provider.I did purchase a Glider Chair in May and it is a great chair but it is far superior chair to the chair I have recieved.
