Useful, but it smelled weird when it got here. It said it was meant to smell like lavender, but it was very strongly strange. Now it is more subtly strange. It’s very handy and useful, we use it a lot, but it smells weird. I didn’t realize it was from China. I don’t like to think of anything for medical purposes possibly having bad chemicals in it, that’s why I don’t like buying things from China. I am not sure whose standards on toxins are lowest, theirs or ours (USA) , but I would much rather buy this product from the US and know where the “lavendar smell” was coming from……I didn’t realize it had a “lavendar smell”. Without it, it’s the perfect product, perfect size, and very easy to use. We will use it for a long time. Hence, the 3 instead of the 1.

This is just what I needed to warm sore muscles in my back. I heat it in the microwave for 55 seconds and it maintains warmth for well over 1/2 hour. The lavender scent is very subtle.

Fabulous product
I really appreciate how it helps. After 20-30 minutes of applying to the needed area, I feel good as new. Instead of laying it flat on the microwave tray, I fold it in half length ways and stand it along the edge of the turn table with the time of 1:15 (75 seconds) if it isn’t to desired heat than add another 15-20 seconds. This feels so much better and isn’t messy. It’s able to be used cold too, but as stated in the instructions it only lasts for a few minutes.

Works OK, though it smells bad.
I have been using it for around two weeks on a daily basis on my wrist. I would heat it in microwave for around 2min, enough duration before it would get too hot to put on skin. 2 min of heating, and I can continue to use it for around 10min, before it loses heat, and needs to be heated again. Works well.My main complaint with this item is that when heated, it smells bad, even after multiple uses. I expected the smell to eventually go away, but I haven’t noticed any difference even after using it many times. My wife rightfully says, the smell reaches the room before the heat pad gets into the room.I would keep it, but not necessarily recommend or repurchase it.

I have a few heat packs and this is the only one I have that comes out of the microwave wet every single time. It’s a bit inconvenient and gross. I avoid using it now unless I need it.

When i try to put in a hot/ lukewarm water,it smells so bad , and i throw it out in the trash! Wasting my money!
