Great for traveling
Absolutely love this travel mug! It can be used for hot and cold drinks. I like that it saves space with the one lid that has a straw and a sip top. It seals completely and has never leaked on me.

Good Value
I’m impressed with it’s function…. The screw on lid was the best feature, followed up by the ceramic lined interior. The design was a little feminine… but I will be ok …. Two ways to drink, one pop a hinged cap and drink directly or flip up a nipple to drink that way too. To drink from the nipple… you must first attach a silicon tube inside of the lid so that you can get all of the contents out when you draw suction… The tube may be left in place… Also you won’t lose it… The company included brush to clean the inside of the tube, and there is a handy soft handle you may attach to the mug’s lid for travel…. This thing aint gonna leak… It seals very nicely. In fact, I should warn you that putting really hot liquids in it and closing all orifices and then shaking it will build up pressure. So just be aware… Their instruction sheet also talks about that and also how to clean properly… I am keeping it at bedside… That way my fumbling at night won’t cause a spill… Very utilitarian and a thoughtful design.

My New Coffee Travel Mug: Proof Against Leaks (Mostly) and Floral Fancies!
My quest for the perfect travel mug has ended, and I think I’ve found “The One”… or at least, “The One That Doesn’t Drench My Lap Every Morning.”I snagged this 16oz insulated beauty in the “white flowers” design, and let me tell you, it’s even prettier in person than it is online. Forget your grandma’s floral wallpaper; this is sophisticated beige with charming sketched flowers and a touch of gold class on the base. I’m practically ready to take it to tea with the Queen (if the Queen drank coffee, and if she liked flowers, and if she invited me… okay, maybe I’m getting carried away). But beauty isn’t everything. We need functionality, people! And this mug delivers… for the most part. The ceramic coating? Genius. My coffee finally tastes like coffee, not the ghost of last week’s questionable chai latte. And the double-wall insulation? Keeps my brew hotter than a summer sidewalk, which is exactly what I need to face the morning commute. Now, let’s talk about the lid. Ah, the lid! It’s like the Swiss Army knife of coffee lids. Flip for sipping hot liquids, flip straw for the iced stuff. Brilliant! No more juggling two lids like a caffeinated circus performer.Of course, I had to put this “leak-proof” claim to the ultimate test. Armed with water and a healthy dose of skepticism, I filled ‘er up, slapped on the lid, and initiated the Shake Test. I’m talking about full-on vigorous, “Beyonce shaking it” levels of intensity. And… for the most part, SUCCESS! The hot sip area held firm. Not a drop. I could have taken this mug to a Zumba class and emerged drier than a desert lizard. But… (and you knew there was a “but,” didn’t you?) …after repeated, aggressive shaking, I managed to coax a few, tiny, pathetic droplets of water from the base of the closed flip straw. So, is it perfectly leak-proof? No. Is it a significant improvement over my previous mug, which leaked like a sieve with a caffeine addiction? ABSOLUTELY. Think of it this way: it’s leak-resistant enough to handle a bumpy car ride or a slightly awkward hug, but maybe don’t trust it in a mosh pit.Overall, I’m giving this floral friend a solid A-. It’s beautiful, keeps my coffee hot, and only slightly betrays its “leak-proof” promise. Plus, the ceramic coating is a game-changer. Just maybe avoid using it as maracas.

Pretty but flawed mug for traveling with drinks
This is a nice travel mug. My daughter actually wants to steal it from me.I got it mainly for hot coffee/tea, but I appreciate the two drinking options, because in the summer I might want iced drinks instead. The design is as pictured. Subtle, but pretty. Washes well. Holds temperature well, as I left coffee in a cold (VT winter) car for four and a half hours and it was still a bit warm when I got back to it. IT had been in the mug an additional hour before that.Since I’ve only put coffee in it so far, I can’t speak to how the ceramic coating helps with flavor transfer, but I can say it doesn’t smell like coffee after I clean it.UPDATE 3/19/25: After using this for a third time, with hot tea, I can say that it tasted like burnt coffee. So….the ceramic coating made zero difference for me.

Man!…thought it was white
My fault for not looking at the pictures closer. I thought I ordered a white mug and received a cream-colored mug with a flower design. I needed a new coffee mug anyway. My previous coffee mug looked and functioned very similar to this Funkrin Coffee Travel Mug. It even came with a similar strap. The biggest difference was that the Funkrin has a ceramic inner liner, and my old mug was stainless steel. My old mug was not 100% leak proof, but I still loved it. Does the Funkrin have the same issue?First of all, this Funkrin Coffee Travel Mug has an elegant style to it. I’m not the flowery type, but it does look nice. I mainly use it for coffee, and it definitely keeps the contents pretty warm for some time. The flip lid and straw lid feels very sturdy when opening and closing. I feel confident that it will give a good seal and will be durable over time. Will it leak is the big question. My previous coffee mug did leak a little, so I would’ve been fine with a little leakage. The Funkrin mug did not leak one drip. Sometimes I drink tea and leave the bag in while screwing the lid on over the string. It still did not leak. I’m sure the string added some stress on the seals. I’m impressed. The Funkrin Coffee Travel Mug impressed me very much. It’s even better than my previous mug which I thoroughly enjoyed. Funkrin is a solid choice.
