This one is just right!
I tried a number of nursing pillows and this is what I was looking for the whole time! It’s just the right height (I’m 5’4″ with DD for reference), right firmness, and size. I also hated the “back support” and straps on other pillows so I love that this doesn’t have any. The fact that the surface is flat means that baby doesn’t roll towards me and he dribbles less while breastfeeding because of it.

Nursing Pillow with Good Support Post Section
I am a huge fan of DrBrowns but I like the original Bobby pillows better. This works well but I would transfer baby on this after nursing. It is firm and helpful for support post csection.

Mom Tested, Baby Approved – The Smartest, Most Compact Support Pillow
Honestly, I’ve tried my share of nursing pillows, and I truly thought I already had the best one until this gem from Dr. Brown’s showed up. This isn’t just another pillow. It’s a huge step up for me and my little one on our breastfeeding journey. They call it an ergonomic breastfeeding support pillow, and they aren’t kidding. It’s built with premium memory foam that just perfectly cradles us both, meaning I don’t have to hunch over and strain my neck and back to get a good latch. That alone makes it a Lifesaver! It doesn’t just function as a nursing pillow. Its ergonomic design makes it work better than any other one I’ve tried. What really seals the deal is the design. It’s got this great firm yet responsive feel, which gives such stable, secure support while still being incredibly comfy. The shape is the smartest I’ve seen. It’s flat, which is a big deal because it stops my baby from constantly rolling inward toward my stomach, which is a problem I had with other pillows. The thickness is also just right, especially since I gained a bit of weight during pregnancy. The clever shape keeps my stomach out of the way, making feeding much easier. It’s truly a smart design that fits around all different body types, and I love that it’s reversible with no awkward straps or extra parts. And for all that support, it’s also the most compact nursing pillow I’ve seen, which is great for storage and moving around the house! The comfort is top-notch. It’s soft but manages to be sturdy at the same time. The brushed fabric pillow cover is so gentle and soft on sensitive skin. Plus, it doesn’t cause my lap or the baby to overheat, which is huge! I also really appreciate how easily the cover can be removed for washing. My little one practically falls asleep every time we nurse, and honestly, if I used it as a pillow myself, I could probably snooze on it too. It’s that cozy. This pillow truly is like no other I’ve encountered. You can tell they put a real effort into this product. Considering the materials, the clever design, and the immense comfort and support it provides, it absolutely deserves 5 stars!

Great Memory Foam, But Too Low for Taller Parents and No Back Support
I received this Dr. Brown’s nursing pillow through Vine, and overall the quality is impressive. The memory foam is firm yet comfortable, offering stable support during feeding. The fabric feels nice, and the pillow wraps around the waist securely. However, it sits lower than I expected. For taller parents or those with a longer torso (like me), the height isn’t quite enough—I still need to add another cushion underneath to bring the baby up to a comfortable nursing position. Otherwise, I end up leaning forward, which isn’t ideal for posture.Another thing to note is that this pillow doesn’t have any back support. If you rely on a pillow with a built-in backrest (like some competing brands), you may miss that extra support during longer feeds. For average-height parents who prefer a firmer memory-foam design, this pillow could work well. But taller caregivers or anyone who needs back support may find it less suitable.

Nice Pillow with Just the Right Firmness
This nursing pillow is a great happy medium between the popular My Brest Friend and the Boppy. The Boppy is much squishier, while this one has a denser, more supportive feel, closer to My Brest Friend but without the buckle. It feels like a firm memory foam and stays secure once positioned. Of course, whether it works for you depends on your nursing style and your baby’s preferences. I think it’s a solid choice for more experienced nursers, since you may still need to do a bit of positioning. But overall, it seems like a great pick for any new mom or even for use in a lactation consultant’s office.

I really like the firmness of this pillow, but I’m giving it 3 stars because it’s quite heavy and lacks a strap to secure it to my back. It constantly slides out of my lap, so I find myself having to use one hand to pull it back toward me
