Product description

What makes the Aerial Buckle Wrap so special?
We created this wrap to cater to that newborn stage, where our little birds are so tiny and fresh – this wrap keeps baby extra close and comfy with our soft CloudBlend fabric, but has the ease of a buckle carrier. The best of both worlds!
What is the weight limit for this carrier?
Meets ASTM F2907 standard for full term babies up to 25 lbs. Consider baby’s size and readiness to ensure safe fit. Baby’s head and airways should be above carrier’s top panel. Designed for babies under 15 lbs. For 15 lbs+, choose the Aerial Carrier.
How does this compare to your Aerial Carrier?
The Aerial Buckle Wrap is made from our soft CloudBlend fabric, designed for newborns to 6 months. The Aerial Buckle Carrier is 100% linen, ideal for babies 2–24 months. Start with the Wrap, then transition to the Carrier as baby grows.
Can I wash my Aerial Buckle Wrap?
For best results and longevity, cold machine wash inside out with like colors, line dry in shade without delay. If desired, warm iron inside out (do not iron prints or embellishments). Do not bleach or soak, do not tumble dry, do not dry-clean.
Are you compliant?
Yes, we are CPSIA and ASTM compliant. WildBird is a member of the BCIA.

Perfect wrap/carrier combination
It is a perfect mixture of a wrap and a carrier. I enjoy that it has the wrap type body style with great head control for infants but also buckles on like a carrier. It is the best alternative to an actual wrap. I found this one to be my favorite for newborn stages. The fabric is buttery soft. It is very easy to get on, and compact enough to take in the diaper bag for outings such as grocery shopping. The straps are easily adjustable and I find it to have good support for baby for their body and head.

Comfy and Fool Proof
This wrap carrier is a lifesaver. My son loves it and falls asleep instantly. It comfortable to wear and the fabric is dreamy. I especially appreciate how easy it is to put on. It takes the guess work out of putting it on safely, and it fits perfectly every time. Baby is very well supported and the overall design is so smart!

Great carrier for new, new babies!
I really appreciate how this wrap is made more specifically for newborns. I had received a Mabe carrier from my registry, but didn’t feel totally comfortable using it when my newborn was a new, new baby due to her smaller size. This WildBird wrap is easy to put on by myself and feels very secure. The material feels high quality, which justifies the cost in my opinion.

Great for Newborns and My Back
This wrap carrier is great quality and material and very comfortable to use. I have another very popular brand of newborn carrier that only has crossed straps on the back, but the additional waist strap on this carrier makes it so much more comfortable in comparison if you are susceptible to back pain. Sadly my baby grew so fast I could not use it as much as I would like as the max weight is not very high (15 pounds I think). I am on the shorter side at 5’2” and found the design very comfortable to use, and my baby was about average size at birth and fit into the carrier comfortably in the early weeks. If you are looking for a less structured carrier this one is a great one to try! We are now happily using the other more structured baby carrier by this brand.

Not really for newborns
I wanted to love this carrier. The material is very soft and stretchy but there is no head support for the baby if they are awake. Putting their head in the side strap is not very realistic for a wiggly baby. Mine is only 6 weeks so this is probably suited only for babies who can control their head 100%

Black- Aeial Buckle Wrap
Concept is there, I really tried to like it especially for the price however it was a big flop for us. Material is of a stretchy fabric which you would think is more suitable for baby wearing but sadly it was more of an uncomfortable and a disappointment. Baby feels like she’s not sitting on me as tight and snug as I would prefer. Even after I had adjusted the straps which I’m petite but still she is already drooping towards my waistline by not even an hour of wearing her. Again I tried to like this baby carrier bc I wanted to still use a “wrap” but without all the hassle of trying to put it on. Perhaps it was user error but I doubt it. Also the material tends to have lint cling onto it and it didn’t help that I purchased the black one which anything shows on it.

Good but not great!
Good carrier, I love how it’s almost hybrid between a wrap and a structured carrier.I had both but with a newborn it’s tough to have the time to do a whole wrap every time. This makes carrier naps and transitions easy without waking the babes up. I think it reminds her of the womb or a swaddle because of how comfy and tight it is to me. I gave 4 stars for a few reasons..I will say the shoulder straps do tend to move pretty often when doing things with your arms which can be quite annoying. I’ve used it on walks outside and it’s doable but it definitely moves around a lot. How it’s structured… I don’t see how it could accommodate a baby over 3 months in my opinion. My baby was born about average 7/11.Lastly the stitching did look like it was done kinda poorly in some areas. With loose threads. I attached photos. I have only worn a handful of times.Considering you’re spending almost $100 and can only use it for a few months. I would hope that this was just a fluke thing.I would recommend a dark color and if I could go back, I would get the black because I noticed that it gets pretty dirty and you can see it.

Great for newborns
Great for newborn stage. I was gifted several carriers and this one felt the most supportive for when the baby was very small. Easy to put on by yourself. The color does stain easily but that’s to be expected for something that’s off white. Washes easily in the washer!

My baby absolutely loves this carrier. It was definitely worth the investment. She falls right asleep in it. It is much more comfy and cozier than most carriers we’ve tried. I also like that it’s easy to put on and has structure to it. I tried the ring sling from wildbird and found that it hurt my back and was difficult to adjust and figure out the right fit. Highly recommend.

Item came with no box from manufacturer (it was in a plastic bag), no instructions, had what looked like make up stains on it, and the fabric storage bag had a missing drawstring. Clearly someone else’s used return. Also very difficult to return, I don’t have the ability to print out 4 labels and go to a UPS location at 6 weeks post partum. Aside from this, the carrier is not newborn appropriate. The panel is way too wide for baby’s hips and not adjustable, so the edges dig into baby’s legs. The fabric is way too stretchy, so even with tightening it all the way the fit is saggy and not supportive, but maybe this is because it’s been worn ? Honestly, disappointing I’ll never buy another item from this company again. Buyer beware
