easy to install, peace of mind is priceless!
i have an almost 3 year old boy who loves nothing more than to give me heart attacks. he tipped his dresser over one day after pulling out all of the drawers and climbing it. its a VERY sturdy high quality dresser, and quite heavy. my husband had previously tested it with his full weight and did not think it would tip. so we didnt secure it. well……when i heard the THUD and tears, and ran into his room during naptime….i found him laying on the floor with the dresser hovering over him with only a small cut above his eye.if he had not opened the bottom drawer, which braced the full weight of the dresser and luckily did not snap or slam closed, i could have walked in on a very very different scene. i took this as my VERY lucky warning shot, snuggled my little man, and vowed to fix this hazard right away. i ordered these straps, they came VERY quickly, and my husband installed them. he had no problems, the directions are very easy. based on other reviews, we bought higher quality screws just to be on the safe side. the dresser is very secure now, and i am grateful i had the opportunity to do something to keep my wee man safe.if you are hesitating about whether or not tethering your furniture is necessary, dont. tether it. because i know i would never have forgiven myself if my child was severely injured or killed by something so easily prevented. learn from our close call.

Best wall-securing Product
After reading a dreadfull Facebook post my wife showed me about a 2 year old who was killed by a dresser, there was no doubt we needed to secure several pieces of our furniture.Not know which product would not only work best, but be easy to install, I ordered several different products. This one, by far, was the best; enclosed were quality materials and a simple and clear instruction sheet.Installation took a few minutes for the first piece, and got quicker and quicker as I moved on.

Keep my toddler out and easy to install. We moved homes so I had to take them off – unhook one latch, pull hard and they will come off with the pressure. No damage to my cabinets at all. I plan to reattach to new cabinets with wall hook stickers.

Worked Perfect, Installation Simple enough.
My little boy is a climber and I knew once we transitioned him out of his crib I would need to scure his dresser and shelf. I wasn’t sure how the strap concept would work but I was plesantly surprize as it works prefect. I like that I can easily adjust the stap to move the dresser away from the wall if needed. Installation was simple and I didn’t find any issue with the screws that was mentioned in other reviews. I do suggest to pre-drill holes to help the drilling of the screws go a little easier. I would buy these again and recommended them to other parents.

My husband installed these on every piece of furniture that could tip in our house. It took him about an afternoon, but we have a lot of furniture. They are easy enough to unhook when you need to move something, but they hold well. Cheaper than I could find anywhere else.

These straps are perfect. They are easy to install (if you don’t mind some holes in your furniture), they’re very secure, they are removable, if you need to temporarily move the peice of furniture, and they are adjustable depending on how far your furniture is from the wall.

These straps do hold up furniture and help me feel better. I used one pair for a bookshelf with a “cardboard” back I had to install this on the top, which the particular design doesn’t support very well because of the way it’s angled (I had to tie a knot in the strap). Furthermore, perhaps due to the configuration, they have a lot of slack, so if there items that could fall off the furniture, e.g. books on said bookshelf or a lamp on top of a dresser, a child could still get dangerously dumped on (but better than getting crushed by the whole furniture).

Saved me an emergency room visit
We have a few large pieces of furniture and when we had kids I decided to childproof the house, I bought a few packs of these. I didn’t think my daughter would be able to turn any of the furniture over, but I went ahead and installed them anyway. One day my daughter did manage to almost turn one of the pieces over, but the strap held and stayed secured to the wall. Had I not installed these, we were probably going to the emergency room.
