Here’s a review of its features:Pros:High Protein Content: With 18 grams of protein per bar, the Quest Nutrition Hero Protein Bar provides a substantial amount of protein, making it an excellent choice for supporting muscle recovery and satiety.Low Sugar: With only 1 gram of sugar, the Hero Protein Bar offers a low-sugar alternative to traditional snack bars, making it suitable for those monitoring their sugar intake or following a low-sugar diet.Low Net Carbs: Each bar contains 3 grams of net carbs, making it suitable for individuals following low-carb or ketogenic diets who want to manage their carbohydrate intake while still enjoying a satisfying snack.Great Taste and Texture: The Crispy Cookies & Cream flavor offers a delicious combination of crunchy texture and creamy flavor, satisfying cravings for a sweet treat without sacrificing nutrition.Cons:Artificial Ingredients: Some users may prefer products with fewer artificial ingredients. While the Quest Nutrition Hero Protein Bar offers a convenient snack option, it does contain certain artificial sweeteners and flavors.Texture Variation: Depending on individual preferences, some users may find the texture of the Hero Protein Bar to be slightly different from traditional snack bars due to its high protein content and use of alternative ingredients.Overall, the Quest Nutrition Crispy Cookies & Cream Hero Protein Bar is a convenient and satisfying snack option for individuals looking to support their protein intake while managing sugar and carbohydrate consumption. Its high protein content, low sugar, and delicious flavor make it a popular choice among those leading active lifestyles or adhering to specific dietary preferences. Chocolate Rice Krispies
Barebells are still my number one, but these are really delicious. Good size, fresh and high quality. They taste like chocolate rice krispies with a thin “cream” layer on the outside. Great texture, but not so dense that I feel like my jaw is fighting for it’s life. No protein aftertaste at all.Update after finishing the box of 12: it’s a lot to chew and can get kinda tiring by then end, don’t think I will be reordering but I do recommend the box of 4/5 or a mixed variety so you don’t get sick of em.

    Great tasting
Love the hero bars! It’s nice to break up the monotony of the standard protein bar texture and get the crunchiness in these. As long as you like the flavors of Quest bars these are a great buy.

    My favorite “protein bar”/guilty pleasure
I have been eating this protein bar for years now. My freezer looks like one of those looney tunes folks that have like 1000 MREs stored in their bomb shelter just in case…you never know. That and it’s summer time kind of hard ordering things that can melt in shipment so I’m planning ahead…yea that justifies my spending.I usually default to quest bars as a “healthy” snack as end of day any processed item is not really your best option when on a cut. However, I am not trying to compete in an IFBB pro and simply follow a 80/90 rule with food. 80 to 90 percent is hand made, unprocessed grains, vegetables, meats, etc. and the other 10 to 20% are still healthy options just with more processed nonsense IE beef jerky off the shelf, prepackaged trail mix, and in this case a protein bar.Calorie wise it’s one of the lower calorie count bars IE amount of calories vs. protein received. I am not a fan of the whole “dietary fiber” doesn’t count nonsense. If it’s a calorie add it on the label. Period. Same nonsense you see with diet mountain dew and other tricky marketing to make you think it’s zero calorie or lesser calorie when it is but they mask 1 gram to 10 grams depending on the product. I just hate that type of nonsense and it’s only allowed in America really. That being said I love this protein bar. It basically tastes like an oreo. It’s delicious. What I do is put my protein bars in the freezer whether it’s the crisp kind or the standard quest bar.I obviously do not eat it immediately frozen. I let it thaw a bit, but having it slightly frozen forces you to slow down to eat it and provides more chew. This bar comes in at 150 calories while most protein bars are easily 180 to 300+ calories. Is it actually 150 calories when you factor in dietary fiber? Well…depends on your feelings on the whole dietary fiber isn’t a real calorie to humans argument. However, if it sets off a calorie bomb test then to me it should be counted as a calorie. But same can be said with amino acids setting off protein gram counts and why some protein powders say they are x amount of protein when it’s incomplete amino acids. It’s just an industry issue really but either way its one of the lower calorie bars.My rule of thumb is try to keep it under 200 calories. No processed sugars or minimal sugars if possible. Having a good balance of protein, carbs, and fat.Pretty much all of the crunch variations of quest are delicious the coconut, caramel pecan, birthday cake, etc. My favorite regular quest bar is birthday cake but this cookies and cream is the BEST protein bar. Period. Any brand.Of course this is an opinion to each their own. You could criticize some of the ingredients but that can be said of any protein bar unless you make your own.I would recommend NOT ordering these in the summer months. They will melt for sure. Just don’t do it. Check the weather in your area unless you can ensure same day delivery even the time it takes in the amazon truck can melt them. That aside it’s a solid snack. I would recommend not eating them on a cut or saving them for a “cheat day” or a day where you are a bit more lax on your intake. Please only order these when the temperature in your area is under 80 degrees and humidity is below 55%. Yes, I am that OCD I know the temperature and humidity to order food items off of Amazon.I do not like quest protein powder either or a lot of quest products are over processed dribble. This is one where they achieved a decent balance and the flavor is on point. It’s that simple. I am giving it four stars as no protein bar will ever achieve five stars based on basic nutritional standards. We are not there yet where ingredients are completely unprocessed and protein is not hydrolyzed or inferior in some capacity. Whey and casein protein are solid but end of day these “supplemental” foods are just that. Something you should enjoy occassionally but should not be a major part of your caloric intake.Limit yourself to maybe 2 to 3 bars a week if even. 5 stars on flavor, 4 stars on ingredients, 4 stars on cost.

    Taste is good

  6. LemonPie

    Very Good Taste!!
Bought these bars for my little brother because he started going to gym and is active. Personally, I am not a fan but my brother LOVES these. The good side is the low sugar count but still lots of protein. I would not say it is filling, but its a good flavor according to my brother.

  7. Megan

    Favorite flavor!
Delicious, substantial snack, handy to grab n go. My favorite Quest flavor, I reorder it all the time.

  8. Kuan Mei Ng
