HOW TO USE:
To Close and Lock
– Rotate wheel and align number zero to triangle
– Close door
– Rotate wheel and align triangle with any number except zero
To Open
– Rotate wheel and align number zero to triangle
– Push buttons at the same time
– Door pops open
HOW TO INSTALL:
– Shut-off electrical power to outlet
– Remove existing wall plate
– Attach the cover box and provided plate to the receptacle
– Secure cover box with provided screws
– Insert power cords as usual

Best option on the market
These outlet covers are, in my opinion, leaps and bounds ahead of most of the options on the market I’ve looked at.Easy to use without compromising safety for little ones, very durable, high quality plastic, and VERY easy to install. The fit is great! Most of our plugs ACTUALLY fit in this box as they left ample room.I seriously cannot give enough praise for these little guys! If you hand joint pain, these are the ones to get. You simply turn the lock mechanism on the side and it opens fairly easily. A lot of the other ones we tried, you had to push in the plastic pieces SO HARD to get them open. I have started to get some joint issues in my hands, so I cannot always apply the amount of pressure they need to get them open.

Heavier Duty that I expected – works perfectly for what we needed.
My mother-in-law has Alzheimer’s and was recently moved into a memory care unit. We use a security camera to make sure we can check in on her at any time. Unfortunately, she can’t always remember how to turn off the TV. Several times, she would see the power strip that was plugged in beside the TV and she would unplug it to get the TV to go off. Unfortunately, that plug is also for the Wireless Router and Camera. We just needed something that she wouldn’t mess with and the devices would stay on. (We got her a 3-function remote and use a Wi-Fi plug to turn off the TV at night if she can’t turn it off herself.)Anyway, we got this outlet cover box. It was very easy to install and very sturdy plastic. To my MIL – it just looks like a white box on the wall with a cord coming out a narrow opening at the bottom. She has completely left it completely alone and not given it a second thought. Perfect.If I had to nit-pick, there is a dial on the side that must be pointed in the right direction before the two buttons can be pressed to release the door of the outlet box. Since everything is pure white, it is difficult for me to see the symbols on the dial to get it lined up correctly so it can be opened. I fixed this with a permanent black marker – so now I can see how it is supposed to go without having to get my head down next to it.One last thing, I’m glad I paid a bit extra for the two pack. Recently she had unplugged her automatic cat feeder – but now we won’t have to worry that the cat is going hungry. Worth the money (and then some).

These are perfect for kid rooms! I bought a bunch and out them all over. Fits almost all of the plugs/bricks i need except one. It fits most of the sideways plugs, but one is just too big. They are easy to use for adults, but kids can’t open them. You can mount them with the wires coming out the top of the bottom. I put some in upside down and ran a conduit to it fornthings like wall mount baby cameras. Works great both ways.

Not perfect, but it works really well for its primary purpose.
This is a pretty interesting product in terms of ease of installation and flexibility with larger plugs. I installed one on a standard wall outlet, and it was quick and easy, the main negative is that this thing is H U G E. If you don’t mind a large Tupperware container hanging off your wall it is easier to use than the plastic safety plugs that go directly into the sockets. I don’t think there is a different solution that can improve on this design in terms of price, ease of installation and flexibility with large plugs and still effectively stop kids from fiddling with the outlets.I also installed one of these on a wall with ship lap, so I had to cut away some of the ship lap in order to sit this flush with the outlet. This was a pain in terms of getting the cutout perfect to not deform the outlet cover and get it lined up perfectly. It would be nice if they developed a version that could be adjusted a little front to back to accommodate for ship lap installations.

Best baby proofing device I’ve ever used.
These things are amazing, needing to turn the dial to the appropriate place, and hold the two buttons down while opening, every your really smart toddlers can’t figure out all those steps on their own. My son figures everything out, we do make sure he doesn’t see us when we turn the little knob thing, even if he did though it would take some time (days/weeks) to figure out how that works. And it’s incredibly sturdy. We’ve gone through tons of baby proofing products with 3 kids, my current toddler is really giving us a run for our money though and just going through everything and figuring out all the tricks. Not with these though, and if you have a kid constantly unplugging things and poking outlets, outlet protection is really no joke, and these are definitely serious protection around the outlets and plugs. If your searching for these kind of products, I would absolutely suggest buying these. Wonderful product that definitely gives me some peace of mind.
