I Love this Baby Monitor!
I Love this product! The quality of the audio and video is great. I placed it on the wall where I can see the entire room, and I can look in on it no matter where I am. I love the fact that I am alerted on my phone when there is movement in the room. I can also adjust the sensitivity of the movement and the sound alert. The other feature that I love is that I can talk to the person in the room. The sound is clear and has been very important feature for me. It was easy to set up and the app is user friendly. I will definitely recommend this monitor!

An excellent peace-of-mind purchase
Though I was skeptical at first of the utility of a camera-and-fancy-app setup like the Nanit over a simpler monitor, the system soon won me over with its convenience, ease-of-use, and anxiety-soothing utility. Instead of worrying about the baby’s position or breathing, I can simply switch to the app and see how she’s doing from anywhere. The setup process is very straightforward, and the app is easy to navigate, though the upselling can get a little much. Unfortunately the sleep tracking options are not functional if paired with a moving bassinet (e.g. a Snoo), but as this is a minor feature for us, it wasn’t a particularly large con. The sound and light system is a nice option for being able to leave in a second room from the camera stand, if your little one prefers to nap somewhere other than their bassinet or crib, and the app offers a lot of customizability. Both units are pretty compact, and can be moved around the house as needed without much hassle. Overall, if you’re an even somewhat nervous parent and want a tech suite that will help you monitor your child from afar with a system that has a slick app, good metrics, a minimalist form factor, and actually works out of the box, this is probably the system for you.

Ok, but not life-changing
The nanit was ok, but of the three monitors I’ve used, it’s my least favorite. I’ll provide a top line overview of what I liked and disliked then go into some detail:Pros:-Tells you when baby started crying-Remote control for sound machine-Ok to wake feature is great for older kidsCons:-Set up was lengthy and kind of annoying-Camera needs to be manually adjusted-After spending hundreds on a monitor, Nanit wants to sell you a subscription product on top to get full use out of the product-No standalone video receiver-Picture quality ok, not superbFeatures I liked were that it tells me when time the baby started crying, so I can more easily keep track of when that started. I also like that I can turn off the sound machine from my phone when I forget to do it in the room and hear the noise 20 min later from another room while I’m laying down feeding the baby. I’ve been using the OK to wake feature with my older child and it’s great.It took way too long to set up the physical camera and the app account (Eufy security and Eufy baby were both much simpler). I also didn’t appreciate being upsold a subscription service after spending so much on a monitor. We had a Eufy security camera for a while, and while it doesn’t have features like alerts for when the baby cries, the main reason I like it better is that you can move the camera remotely. That’s helpful if you use a portable bassinet for your baby since you may not always put it in the exact same place and also helpful for when you have a toddler who gets out of bed and you want to see what they’re doing. So, in my opinion, a dynamic camera would immensely improve the product. I also didn’t find the picture to be super clear considering the price point.Lastly, I’ll note I never used the sleep band because I think it’s just asking for extra anxiety, so can’t comment on that.
