Takes regular trash bags! Fun disposal system.
Okay, so I have had this item now for 2 weeks or so and I really really like it.My favorite part is that I do not need special bags, just use regular trash bags and good to go!Size wise with the big and frequent pooping newborn I do have to empty it about every day. Love the little disposal mechanism, quite fun to pull the lever and see them drop down 😃I dont know about the smells, since his poops are still in the era of not being too stinky.Fairly easy to assemble.Only negative I have to say currently is that the base it a bit light and wobbles a bit on super thick carpet that I have when the bin is empty.

I have zero complaints and that’s really a first for me lol. This is the perfect diaper pail and I’ve tried a few. Best things are: no smell! And I just use my regular trash bags so no buying refills. Totally worth it.

Not that great for oder
It holds a good amount of diapers and i like that it uses regular trash bags. The only downside is that by the end day 2 the dirty diaper smell will leak out and by day 3 it is very strong. This is the downside because the garbage bag is only 1/2 full. This is with 3 children worth of wet and dirty diapers from my at home daycare. It might need more oder absorbers or a better seal. I do like that when you change the bag it self closes. It also looks nice but the oder absorber part needs to be better.

I’m actually pleasantly surprised by the Momcozy diaper pail. When it’s closed, it does a pretty good job masking odors, which was my main concern. The box it comes in is a bit misleading. I initially thought it would be smaller than my old diaper pail, but it actually holds more diapers once you start using it.That said, even though it fits more, the space isn’t used perfectly. At a certain point, the pail stops opening and closing smoothly because the bag gets too full, but when you pull the bag out, you can see there’s still unused space inside. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of.I really like the auto‑seal feature when you lift the lid. It’s convenient, but it doesn’t seal immediately, so you do get hit with a strong poopy diaper smell the moment the lid opens. On the plus side, it’s compatible with standard trash bags, which is a huge win compared to pails that require special refills.The triple‑lock mechanism is also pretty neat. I like that I don’t have to push diapers through a slot. I can just toss them in and pull the handle down to drop them into the trash bag. It also makes it easy to throw in small bits of regular trash without sticking my hand through anything. If my baby were still having messy diapers, I’d probably worry about the clear door getting dirty since it seems like it would need frequent wiping.Overall, there are definitely pros and cons, but the design feels innovative and thoughtfully put together.

This diaper pail is a MESS. Almost impossible to put together, and the trash bags do not stay in place after you drop in a diaper. You will have to constantly keep pulling the bag up to fit the little clips they have to make the bags stay in place. Also the diapers touch the inside of their odor contraption? If you have a very dirty diaper it will get all over it!!!!

No stink!
This diaper pail is phenomenal. We were struggling with strong odors using an Ubbi. I decided to give this one a try, and I’m really glad I did. There is NO odor whatsoever. The way the top is designed prevents any exposure to the pail’s contents, so no smell is able to escape- even when putting a dirty diaper in. I love it!
