EXCELLENT product. I am finally able to shorten my baby’s nails without hurting him. He no longer needs to wear mittens because he doesn’t scratch himself anymore. The machine is easy to use, and it’s comfortable enough for my baby that he stays asleep when I do his nails.

Quiet and gentle nail trimmer for babies and young kids
This nail trimmer is large enough that it’s easy to hold in my hands and it’s ergonomically comfortable for young kids as well. The trimmer is cordless so it’s very simple to use anywhere without being tied to an outlet. This trimmer comes with a charging base that has two features, one the base serves as the charging home, secondly the base has a place for each of the nail trimming grinding heads. The nail trimmer operates very smoothly and quietly, this trimmer has two speeds for each mode. There is a baby mode and the other is kids mode. The baby mode is so quiet that I can trim my toddler’s nails while he is napping. The kids mode is louder but the trimmer is still very silent. While this trimmer works fine it’s easy to stop the trimmer from rotating when I apply too much pressure while trimming my child’s nails. Overall this is a very nice nail trimmer that is easy to operate and is very quiet but the major deficiency that this trimmer has is that the motor is as powerful as I would like it to be.

I ordered the MelodySusie Electric Baby Nail Trimmer for my young kiddos (2&5). Inhad previously purchased an electric nail file for adults that claimed to have a baby setting, but it was too loud and too aggressive for their little nails. This has been the perfect replacement and now both of my kids let me file their nails with no hassles!This nail file is so quiet, I’m sure it could be used on a sleeping infant without waking them. It does have a bit of a humming noise, but is barely noticeable.It comes with 6 different attachments that work as they get older and their nails get stronger. The rotation is slow enough that if you press too firmly, it will stop. I can put all of the attachments against my skin and it doesn’t hurt at all.The LED light is really handy for making sure I can see their nails clearly and without shadows. This would also be really useful if you need to sneak in while they’re sleeping to file their nails.The little stand with a magnetic charger is cute, but I don’t file the kids nails daily so I find it takes up counter space. I keep it stored in the box it came in and only pull it out when it needs to be used or charged. For the newborn stages when their nails grow so quickly, this would be great to have set up in the nursery or in a diaper cart.

I actually have a professional nail drill from this brand and love it so I was excited to get the baby version for my littles! So far I’ve been very happy with it. It arrived quickly and in great condition, it works well, and I love that it’s rechargeable, We previously bought one that needed batteries and we just didn’t like it as much. I love the soft LED light that helps you see the tiny nails better, that it’s easy to use, and that it comes with multiple grits with a guide for when to use each. It’s fairly quiet, light, and easy to hold. It feels well made and sturdy so I could see it lasting through multiple kids. The only thing is when I have to charge it, I have to look for a place to rest it in it’s charging cradle which isn’t always super easy to find right now LOL. Overall though, it works well, I’m happy with it and I would recommend it!

The color matches the pictures. The recharging stand is a bonus, as it is magnetic and keeps the trimmer upright. It charges fast, and holds a charge well also. Using it is gentle. It comes with four settings, from softest to hardest, and they are not that furious in my opinion. Ideal for baby nails. Even for adult nails these can be used as long as you are ok with minimal grinding capacity. The shape is ergonomic and makes it a pleasure to use. The noise is also minimal.
