I should have read the detail specifics but Amazon doesn’t always have accurate measurements. The overall board itself is a bit smaller than expected. That means that fish are a bit small. Being smaller and a strange font and number style make it difficult for an adult to identify the letter. I do feel like the little fishing pole is cute but the end of the string that catches the fish could be a choking hazard if it were to come off. I kept it because I will only ever use this with supervision because this was for our grandparent toy box. Photo compares size to a standard size sheet of paper. So the fish in the photo is the Letter ‘I’, not an O or a zero

Great learning toy
I ordered this magnetic alphabet fishing set for my 3-year-old, and it’s been a huge hit in our house. As soon as we opened the box, my little one went straight for the fishing poles and started “catching” letters. The magnets are strong enough to grab easily without being too tricky, and the wood pieces feel solid and well-made — not flimsy like some of the cheaper sets I’ve seen.I really like that each fish has a letter on one side and a number or math symbol on the other. It keeps things interesting, and we’ve been able to use it for both alphabet practice and early counting games. The colors are bright and cheerful, and the two fishing poles make it fun for siblings or parents to play along.Cleanup is the only minor challenge since there are a lot of little pieces, so I keep everything in a small bin. Also, definitely check the pieces when you open it — ours came complete, but I’ve seen reviews mention missing letters.Overall, I’m super happy with this order. It’s the perfect mix of playtime and learning, and it keeps my toddler busy way longer than I expected. Great value for the price and a really cute educational toy!

Great quality magnetic fishing toy
Our toddler has loved playing with this toy! It is a great educational toy to reinforce letter and numbers and they are clear to see. The magnet is strong enough to pick up each fish but easy enough for a child to take the fish off the pole. It’s a great size for a playroom. Definitely worth the money!

This is an awesome high quality item!The magnets are sufficiently strong and it’s very easy to use it.Is super fun for kids of any age, especially as soon as they start developing motor skills.And the size is perfect for those little hands!Overall, I would highly recommend this product. While the age says 3+, my soon to be 2 year old granddaughter, almost 4 year old grandson, 6 year old granddaughter and 9 year old grandson all love playing with it. Confession, so do I! The quality is excellent. The wood is smooth and well made, magnets are perfect strength for connection and disconnection, colors are bright, numbers and letters are clear. It’s a great way for my older grandchildren to interact and help the younger ones. They become “little teachers” and the smiles all around make this Nana happy. I appreciate the included card with a QR code to simply scan and go to vs paper directions.
