This is very convenient for dispensing formula whether at home or on the go. Each compartment comfortably holds three scoops of formula for a 6 oz serving. I love this gadget! It is a must have for me!

Smart idea but hard to get open at first.
These can be a challenge to get open, they sort of need to be broken in a little to be able to use them easily if you have inflammation in your hands. They hold a lot of powdered mix in each of the three wells. Nice quality, I ordered a second one.

Handy formula container
We have a few of these floating around our house, and at first I didn’t really understand their purpose. Our daughter can really gobble up a lot of formula, though, and we do need some with us anywhere we go.Their function is simple. I measure out three big bottles worth of formula into each of the three compartments. (Big for her is six ounces, but you can easily put more formula in each third of the container). I also fill three sterilized bottles with distilled water, and cap them. The three bottles and the formula container go into one compartment of our diaper bag with a few burp clothes. That makes it extremely easy to prepare a bottle when on the go. Our daughter greatly prefers breast milk, but sometimes that just isn’t working when out of the home, so this really just gives us a little reassurance that we can handle a day trip (or potentially a road trip).The one thing that makes or breaks all of these containers is how well the lid stays on when you pop the little opening. Some of them are too dainty and if everything pops off and spills it’s frustrating, This one, though cheap looking (and cheap costing) does the job well. I can remove the opening with my thumb and have never had the whole lid come off accidentally, because there’s enough tension. Rotating the lid to the right divider is still easy. Formula only comes out if I shake the hell out of the container, but all brands are like that.It looks plain. The ‘nicer’ ones I have are colorful and have more artistic physical shapes. This one works better and I don’t really care that it’s plain. It’s survived the top rack of my dishwasher without incident multiple times.I wouldn’t buy a more expensive one.You’re supposed to eventually use these to store snacks when your baby grows up, but each divider is small that I’m not sure I’d really want to. I did put three dipping sauces into the container and dip french fries through the port to make my wife mad, and found that this actually worked surprisingly well, but for carrots and grapes the serving sizes would be too small.

WONDERFUL idea that could use one little tweak!
With a newborn baby, having to make bottles on the go or in the middle of the night at bedside can be a sloppy endeavor. The formula ALWAYS drops on your pants, your seats, your bed, everywhere.This device is wonderful! I can pre-measure out the exact amount and have bottled water ready to make a bottle anywhere-with NO mess!These make feedings so much easier and I would highly recommend them to any new mom. This would be a hit at any baby shower-even if they don’t realize it right away.My one suggestion would be to move the opening closer to the wall and maybe angle the formula out of the hole to make emptying the chamber easier. This is just a tiny issue, so I couldn’t take anything away for such an awesome tool.5 healthy stars!

Holds the powder as should, however the lid was soo difficult to get off to refill or wash so i ended up chucking it after a couple of uses.
