Pleasantly unique scent, moisturizing
It smells like you’re about to take the first sip of hot sake in a cozy izakaya on a freezing winter night. It’s really delightful without any suspicion that you’ve been drinking.The consistency is like serum that absorbs quickly and leaves skin smooth and fresh with a subtle glow (remember VS Pink ‘Water Lotion’?). It’s going to be perfect in the summer.Haven’t tried to use it as a facial toner but I think it’s worth purchasing again to try it that way.

This is my holy grail moisturizer. It’s thicker than the lotion in the light pink bottle, if you’ve used that before. It does a good job hydrating my dry skin. It leaves me looking dewy for hours, which I love. And somehow my acne-prone skin has gotten clearer in the couple of weeks that I’ve been using it. I would say that this is suitable for sensitive, acne-prone skin.in the winter, at night I cover my face with Aquaphor after putting two or three thin layers of this on and when I wake up in the morning, any dry patches are gone.It does smell distinctly like sake ferment, though the smell disappears a little while after you apply. I personally enjoy the smell, but I know many people don’t.Oh, and if you apply this to your eyelids, like I do, after it absorbs you may feel like your eyelids are sticky when you blink for a half an hour.

Looks serum base not thick moisturiser
I really like this Kikumasamune 2-in-1 Face Toner and Body Lotion! It feels light on the skin and absorbs quickly without any stickiness. The mild sake scent is clean and pleasant, and my skin feels soft and hydrated after every use. It’s great that it works for both face and body — very convenient and moisturizing!

I’ve bought the classic Kikumasamune High Moist many times, and really do love it for its moisturizing/hydrating properties and low price. I thought I’d branch out and try something new. This has much more body than classic Kiku and is more moisturizing, too.I have mature dehydrated skin that tends to be combination. I’ll get dry in winter and oilier in summer, but almost always dehydrated. This is so moisturizing I barely need any moisturizer in summer, but makes a great base for moisturizer in winter. I’ve had hardly any very dehydrated days with this (i.e. where my skin feels tight and crinkly). This also works great on the body for those who don’t need a rich body lotion/cream.I do find this gives a nice glow and it sits well under makeup. Because it’s much thicker than High Moist Kiku, it doesn’t work well in a spray bottle. Thankfully, the improved pumps mean this works well enough that way. It’s almost closer to an emulsion or an essence than a classic Japanese toner.Overall, I’d recommend for dry and dehydrated skin as a base under moisturizer.

This is a great lotion for face and body. Very moisturising. A bit sticky and smells like sake but i don’t need moisturiser afterwards. I have tried many sake products throughout my life and this is my favourite! I use this for my body everyday and have repurchased 5 bottles already within a year. For the price, you cannot beat this.

日本酒の香りがする点で好き嫌いが出そう、数秒後には消えますが男ですが痒み等のトラブルはありませんずっとしっとりしてます、顔を洗う時ぬるぬるするのでよく洗い流す必要があります夏場のベタベタする季節になったらわかりませんが今のところ良好です私の場合は乳液いらないくらい潤います

こちらの商品が口コミでいいときいたのでためしてみました。テクスチャーは少しとろみがあります。大きなボトルなのでたっぷりつかっても大丈夫です。年齢からするともう少しリッチなお値段のものがいいのかもしれませんがたっぷり使いたいので。使用感はとってもしっとりというよりはしっとり。そして実はお酒が全くだめなのでにおいが日本酒の香りがしてちょっとこれは私的にはあまりうれしくなかったです。でも菊正宗さんからでてるのだから当然でしょう。しばらくするとにおいは消えるのでちょっと気になっただけです。
