Great earbuds at this price point
I had a previous set of JBL earbuds (but different model), and the batteries eventually died on them. (Was charging the case every other use, and the earbuds barely lasted 30 minutes). Because I was happy with them before the batteries finally went caput, I decided to stick with JBL. These Tunebuds have been an improvement! Battery lasts longer (including when the previous earbuds were brand new), sound quality is even better, touch controls are very responsive, and the noise cancellation works quite well. They’ve been a great value for the money.My only complaint is that the small silicon covers are too small, but the medium are a touch too large, causing the ear buds to slowly slip out of my ears as I move. But the medium help “seal” the ear which helps the noise cancellation to work so well.

These are great earbuds until they were stolen. They are comfortable, lightweight and small. I didn’t have to charge these very much, they lasted for days because I’m usually using one at a time most days. They charge to 100% within a couple of hours or less. I bought them when they were on sale so they were definitely worth what I paid. I love the JBL app to customize the sound too. I’m debating on buying them again

I ordered these to replace a set of cheaper buds that I’d used for several years. Overall I’m satisfied but not thrilled.As noted in other reviews, these are pretty difficult to put back into the case. You have to orient them just right and I find myself fumbling with them alot to get them in.Sound quality is acceptable, although they sound a little ‘tinny’ to me. The EQ gives some help, but I still have some work to get them to warm up. Maybe they’ll be better after breaking in for a while.My biggest complaint is probably the noise reduction. It works a little, but I can still hear alot of what’s going on around me. I was hoping for it to be more effective.I will probably keep them, but if I had more flexibility I’d probably shop around a bit more. I expected more for the price.

Easy setup and great value. Battery life is decent for almost every occasion
I use these daily. They’re lightweight, a great fit and the battery rarely runs low except when I fall asleep wearing them. Noise cancellation is decent, although I can still hear the environment. Ambient aware is great for walking or when you need to be aware of what’s going on around you. Sound is pretty well adjustable through the app. Bass is full and this set has a rich full range. It definitely doesn’t feel tinny like others.The case is great and charges the buds quickly. Setup was a breeze and a way better experience than previous wireless buds I’ve had. Phone found them automatically without me having to go through some kind of summoning ritual and sacrifice a chicken. Absolutely recommend.

Good, Not Great
I’ve always really liked JBL speakers for their value of price to quality, so I assumed these earbuds would be similar. On one hand, the sound quality is great (sometimes) for the price and the a battery life is excellent. I use these paired with a Google Pixel 8a.I work an office job and usually just put these in for an entire 8 hour shift with no problems. They’re comfortable and light enough that I don’t even notice them, though I do have issues with one of them not sitting quite right in my ear. I’ve tried all three sizes of silicone tip, but something about my ear shape just doesn’t quite work with these. This causes me to constantly have to fiddle with it, though I haven’t had it fall entirely out yet.I’ve not dropped them or had to test their durability so I can’t say anything for certain on that front, though I did buy a protective cover for the charging/carrying case.The touch sensors on the earbuds work well and make controlling things easy with a one-two-three tap system that doesn’t take long to get used to.They charge quickly, both the case and the earbuds, and I’ve never had any issues with them not lasting through a 40 hours work week at 8 hours each day, and usually longer than that.Connecting via Bluetooth was fast and easy, but this is also where my problems start. The packaging will say it works best when paired with the JBL Headphones app and I agree. Having the app installed makes the earbuds play at a significantly high sound quality. However, I’ve found the earbuds will also randomly cut quality and volume drastically, almost like listening through a wall. Sometimes this will self-correct, other times the quality is just shot for the day.I’ve tried toggling all of the various settings and features off and on, no difference. I’ve tried various sound sources like YouTube, Spotify, and Pandora, no difference. The only thing that I’ve found makes a reliable difference is uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but even that might only work for a day or just a few hours.When these earbuds work, they work really well. Unfortunately, they just aren’t as reliable as I’d like. Because the issues are random and somewhat easily fixed, I’d still say there are worse options out there, but they definitely need to troubleshoot the app before I could rate these any higher.

It’s been a struggle to find any type of ear bud that fits my freak ears. The standard iPod / Air Pod shape just fall out regardless of brand. No idea how people get those things stay in their ears.The Tune Buds come with a selection of cup sizes that made it easy to find a combination that worked for me. They stay in even during outdoor activities (running, lawn mowing).Sound quality is good. Very easy to find or create a custom EQ using the JBL app. The Tune Buds can sound good with a variety of music and podcasts.Noise Cancelation is decent. its not overly strong and all-cancelling. good enough. I enjoy the talk through feature that allows you to hear sounds around you using the directional mics on the buds. very nice for keeping aware of your surroundings.The Bass – Holy…. these things can push out sub-woofer like bass. Not sure how JBL did it. If you’re into bass heavy music I highly recommend these. That being said I primarily listen to Rock and they’ve also performed well.

I have 2 pairs of these buds. Money was no object and I tried almost every brands and more expensive buds before selecting these buds. The sub-bass is incredible. Some other brands had also great sound but all were not loud enough, to my taste. I use these buds while driving my harley and it lowers significantly my Harley exhaust sound and more importantly, the loud tire noise from adjacent cars on the higway. It makes everything much quieter, relative to unwanted noise in your environment. Unless you have small ears, I recommend using the biggest size Rubber/Silicone Ear Tips. Definitly not recommended for running as they are a little heavy and fall easily.
