This waterproof mattress protector worked perfectly during post-surgery recovery. It provided strong protection against leaks while still being comfortable to sleep on, which made recovery much easier. Likes:- the large size- color- nice appearance, appears high-quality- has held up well over the 2 months we’ve had it so farNeutral:- we (thankfully) haven’t tested yet how absorbent it isNegatives:- darn thing slips around on the bed, not when he’s lying on it, but when he sits down and swings his legs up to get into the bed, and also when he’s sliding to get out of the bed (long story short, we have a step that he needs to use to get into our tall bed, but he doesn’t like to use it to get OUT of the bed, so he slides about a foot towards the foot of the bed to avoid stepping on the step — and when he does that, this mattress protector slides down with him — and then it has to be repositioned before he gets back in the bed, and it also has to be adjusted a bit many times after he gets in the bed, with him lying on it.)If he didn’t slide around so much getting in and out of bed, it wouldn’t slide so much.But he does.And it does.And I’m not sure what the best solution to this problem is.The pad is only needed on 1/2 of the king sized bed, so corner straps wouldn’t really help.But the pad itself is fine.It’s just not quite as “grippy” on the sheet as I wish it were.

This worked perfectly. Well constructed and washed fine. I dried it in the dryer on low but not for a whole cycle. I finished with air drying. Would recommend.
