Fabulous Child Gate!
Best child gate I have ever purchased! I bought two of ’em to block off my roommates precious French Bulldog from both the kitchen and my office. The gates were super easy to install, extremely durable and of good quality. They even have a well made, easy to operate door on each of Cideny Baby Gates.They work fantastic and I definitely recommend, especially for those 35 lb awesome Frenchies!

Excellent gate for kids or pets
Excellent Product! Comes with all the attachments needed to fit a wide variety of door widths. Installation was easy, but take your time. The inclusion of the small ramp to avoid trips is a nice touch. The gate is sturdy enough to keep our pup from getting into the mudroom and chewing our shoes. The gate is a bit tricky to open at first, until you learn the trick (lift up!). It will stay open if you want it to and closes easily and securely when you need it to. Will buy again if we need to close off another room.

Day-to-day it’s a great gate
Great tension gate! We use this in our kitchen. However, the latch to open the gate isn’t as simple as it could be and it’s kind of a pain to install. (Minus 1 star for that). You have to get it in there just right to get the gate to line up with the mechanism; getting it set up is kind of tedious.If you don’t want to stick it to your wall, you’ll have to used the tension (which is what we use), but it has to be tightened periodically.Overall day-to-day it’s a great gate. I’ve just seen others with gates that operate more smoothly. It’s a nice sturdy and stable gate once set up (we use it for Shih Tzus). It’s not an eye sore either: the white blends nicely with the kitchen.

Works as described
In my opinion this gate is worth the money it installs easily it’s sturdy and if you’re using it for pets they are not going to get through it (unless you have an undisciplined rotty who plows through everything). Small Children cannot open it either I believe because of the opening mechanism, you have to pull the button back and then lift up. I also like the self closing mechanism, it only took me 15-20 minutes to install.
