This is one of those products that I wish half star ratings existed. This electric nail trimmer isn’t quite a 5 but more than a 4 star.5 STAR:-When I first opened the box I thought they forgot the file attachments but then quickly realized it was all stored in the back in what looks like a battery compartment. So organized and easy to store without losing pieces!-clippers are built in. Again, all in one…easy to travel with and to store. Also great when you’re trying to clip nails on a moving target and only have one item to juggle.-rechargeable-two speeds, two directions (clockwise and counterwise), lights on the file and the clippers. I found the lights to be helpful.-multiple tips with varying grit. I found getting the correct grit for the nail to be the key to success. Too rough and it eats the nail (the metal file was too rough on my adult nails). My 2 year old has softer nails than my 5 & 7 year old and the pink tip was perfect. The purple was better on my 5 year olds harder nails. I loved the cylindrical grinding head to smooth a ridge on my nail that is always splitting and catching. The box directions do not give info on the tips but the product listing does. Definitely a suggestion on ages but gives you an idea of smoothest to roughest.FOUR STAR:-what happens when these files wear down? Hopefully there are refills?-I found the clippers bulky since they’re attached to the unit. For tiny toes and fingers, I found it difficult to do percision cuts but the clippers were sharp and cut very well. I’d be nervous to use these on a newborn but it does the trick on slightly older babes.All in all, I wish I had these when my 3 kids were newborns! The file is where it’s at for smoothing little talon nails. Was afraid it would scare my toddler but he was all about it after I showed him it doesn’t hurt by putting the file on my nail and skin (zero discomfort). The commodity made him want his nails cut and filed. Anything to make nail cutting easier is a win in my book! At the normal $25 price I’d say it’s a little too high but at the current sale price of $10, this is a steal.

Keep the temps in range
Nice gift for my grand baby shower. This is a new variation from the old thermometer an liked at the shower. The price was perfect and it seemed super easy for a new mom to navigate easily and comfortably with multiple little ones. Good buy and good deal!

Trimmer has both a clipper and a grinder in addition to a LED light. It’s very quiet, so perfect for little ones.

Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy!
This wimpy little thing is a joke! It is NOT suitable for an adult. The manual clippers are recessed into the handle and are too narrow to fit even an adult pinkie into. The motor is so weak the thing completely stops with even slight pressure on the grinding wheel. Save your money and just buy a Dremel tool!

Convenient, easy-to-use trimmer with attachments
This electric nail trimmer is a helpful little gadget. It feels sturdy and durable, and I especially love how all the attachments store in the back of the trimmer so I don’t lose them. This worked great on my younger kids, although I don’t have a baby to try it on. The clippers are sharp and cut cleanly. The file is great to smooth down sharp points. My kids were not scared because it is relatively quiet. The light on the trimmer is the biggest help for my old eyes. I feel much safer using this trimmer, and it has two different speeds. This is a good value at the current price.

Useful for the entire family!
The first thing I noticed and appreciated was that it was ready to use right out of the box. I’m not sure how long the initial charge would last, but it was enough for me to trim my toddler’s nails and file a couple of mine that had broken earlier in the day. I also really like that it’s rechargeable via a USB-C cable instead of needing AA or AAA batteries. Side note: the part that looks like a battery compartment cover is where the additional file and buffing heads are stored. You do have to be a bit careful when opening it, as the heads can easily fall out.I like the idea of the light on the clipper end, but I don’t think I would feel comfortable trimming my baby or toddlers nails in the dark as it was still difficult to see. With the light being placed where it is on the clippers, it seemed to light up the whole nail bed, making it difficult to see where to actually trim. The clippers themselves are quite sharp though, which is definitely a plus! I recently threw away a couple of older pairs that just weren’t cutting it—literally.As for the light on the file end, I personally didn’t find it very helpful. Since the light is located underneath, it was mostly blocked while I was using the file. I even tried holding it differently, but it just lit up the back of my nail rather than the area I was working on. That said, I do appreciate that it comes with different grades of file heads and a buffing pad. The file heads will likely become unusable over time if replacements aren’t available—I haven’t seen any yet, but it would be great if they were offered. Additionally, it has multiple speeds and can go either clockwise or counterclockwise and is actually really quiet considering!If you’re able to get it on sale, it seems like a great little multifunctional nail tool that could work for the whole family and a good value. I was lucky to catch it at a lower price (like the $14.98 it’s currently listed at), but personally, I don’t think I would have bought it at the full price of $24.99. Now, to go give myself a much needed manicure – haha.
