thicker than other travel mats
So far I really like this travel mat, though I’ve only tried it out at home. I wanted a little bit of thickness for practicing on hard surfaces. I tested this mat on my porch, and I was happy with the cushioning. Like others have mentioned, I do like that it folds such to keeps the floor side away from the practice side, keeping the practice side cleaner. I wiped it down with dish soap in warm water and let it sit out for a couple of days before using, and it does not smell at all after that initial wash.

Not exactly as advertised
I bought this because the many reviews saying it was nonslip and didn’t smell of chemicals, my experience has been after first day of use is that it does slip and it does smell like chemicals; maybe my nose is more sensitive but I can smell it and it’s not nonslip so not thrilled with the product.

Exceeded Expectations, but…
Usually, I have low hopes for thin yoga mats that don’t roll up; however, I was proven wrong here. The material may be thin, but it does provide the support I require to not hurt my joints for certain stretches especially my knees.Pros:1) Pretty design2) thin, yet effective padding3) Top and bottom appears to be well-fused (see photo of side view) so they won’t be separating4) Folding is actually assisted with grooves (see photo). You fold the whole thing in half by its width, and then you basically zig-zag it along its length REALLY easily. Incredibly easy.5) Comes with a seemingly durable bag with back straps. It doesn’t weigh much, so it’s easy to carry with it.6) Much cleaner way to transport a mat to a yoga studio, since the topside doesn’t fold onto its backside. I never want to go to a studio to do yoga because I’m paranoid of bringing germs back on my mat, but now I have a dedicated mat for studios.Cons:1) While the product page states it’s OEKO-Tex certified, there is no such information in the packaging that I received. I don’t know if it has changed since my time of order, but it’s weird to me.2) While it says odorless, you really actually need to air it out for a few days first. It really does smell bad at first.3) It’s non-slip at first, but I find myself giving in to the slip as I start getting sweaty into my workout. If you’re the sweaty type, then be careful. Think about what types of stretches you’re going to do.

Great for travel
I love this mat and the carrying bag. It is very convenient for travel – I bring it with me on weekend getaways and have even brought it in my luggage for longer trips. And the design is beautiful.

Comfortable yoga mat
Love these yoga mats. I purchased 2 of these to get a larger area in order to stretch better after surgery. These are comfortable to use for yoga, stretching and lying on after exercising! I like that these are relatively healthier to use than other mats that have chemicals.
