Worked well for me – and maybe you as well- see review
Here is the reason I ordered these – I had previously put strap metal bent to secure my cabinets from tip over. I have included a picture of the old and the New. The L Brackets that had come with the cabinets were designed for the cabinet to be almost flush to the wall – We have radiator there so besides leaving a small gap for air flow we’re had the radiator to deal with.Those brackets were too small. Next issue was the rare occasion of actually cleaning behind the cabinets- which would mean get some tools out and remove the old metal strap. Problems solved!So this strap allows you a bit of distance-The big thing is you can take it apart to move the cabinet if needed without getting out the toolbox. Not to mention stripping the screw holes after a few times of it.As you see in the after picture-I did the brackets at a 45 degree to each other- The reason was to get 2 screws directly in the stud – that seemed to work well!And the vertical bracket is a little crooked- Oh well should have gotten the level out – no one’s going to know but you and me as you can’t see it from the floor.The kit also includes long and short screws and anchors – which I used –

Just what I needed for my book shelves
Like many other young adults when I started out on my own I got some bookshelves that came with little wall straps and thought I’ll never need these and grew them out. As I have gotten older and started planning for kids I have thought about little ones trying to climb up on them and thought I should have saved those straps. These are so much better than what I remember any of them coming with. The ability to place them and adjust the amount of movement they allow is great. The nylon strapping seems to be strong and doesn’t seem to stretch when tension is applied. The only part of these that I will be upgrading are the anchors for drywall instal. I wanted something that I was sure would not pull out of the wall and have a high load capacity. If you are sure of stud location and can attach to that these are even better. The fact that this is a 4 pack is even better to me and makes this a great value for the money to ensure tip over protection and safety

Took me 10 min per piece of furniture. Straps are thick, hardware is quality, and our dresser is NOT going anywhere now that baby is cruising. The slight slack lets you move things to vacuum. the quality is excellent, the straps are thick and durable and the hardware feels strong and reliable, once everything is installed, my furniture doesn’t budge at allinstallation was simple and straightforward, the kit includes everything needed and with a drill, it only took me about 15 minutes per piece, one of my favorite features is the adjustable strap, i can easily loosen or unclip the straps when i need to move the furniture or grab something from behind it and it can be re secured easilythey are also very low profile, once installed, they are barely noticeable and don’t affect the look of the room. overall, these anchors are great quality, they are a smart and affordable safety solution, they are sturdy, easy to use and provide real peace of mind, it’s great value for the money

Easy to install, but recommend replacing wall anchors to improve load capability
I got these earthquake straps to use with tall book cases. They are easy to install but you will need a drill and Phillips screwdriver. Although the product claims to be able to support a 500-pound load, I think that will depend upon how you anchor them to the wall. I don’t believe that the four provided wall anchors are rated for that high of a load. A toggle bolt would be an improvement, but for best results the wall brackets should be attached to a stud.
