In this sense I’d say they are strong enough for (its intended use of) kids’ furniture, but not for heavier purposes such as installing shelves that will support additional weight.One of my uses is to secure a 47″ TV, so that it will not fall off a piece of bedroom furniture, in case of a natural disaster, such as an earthquake or tornado. Although the bracket is not meant to support weight, I feel it will be more than strong enough to prevent the TV from rocking back-to-front, which presents far less torque if the TV is reasonably close to the wall, and tied to the bracket with a sturdy rope or chain. Not super pretty, but practical if hidden from view.This kit is reasonably priced at just under $10, for a supply of 12 units of everything. By “unit” I mean: an L-shaped bracket, a plastic anchor, a short screw that would go into the furniture (or other object) being secured, and a long screw that goes into the anchor. Sure you can get better pricing by purchasing the individual parts separately and in bulk, but here I find the value proposition of the kit to be worthwhile. I rate the product four and half stars.
