Heavy duty, but expensive and probably not actually 1,000 lb capacity
I ordered these heavy duty furniture anchors for my toddlers chest of drawers. He has started climbing everything and using drawers, toy bins, etc, as ladders and step stools. Stools. It’s only a matter of time before he starts climbing up his bedroom furniture with the drawers pulled out.These furniture anchors for baby proofing I’m very sturdy but I would not really expect them to hold against 1,000 lb. I have heavier duty tie down straps for my trailer that are not even rated for 1000 lbs.At $24.99 for two sets, these straps are sturdier than many other options, but that still seemed kind of expensive for what they are.

this is an excellent furniture anchor for nightstands, dressers, or anything else you want to use it for. The drawers in our nightstands and dressers tend to fall open which makes them even more likely to tip over so this anchor just gives us peace of mind as our toddler is constantly running around and getting into things. you just never know what could happen, even in an instant. This anchor is secure and heavy duty and it was easy to install as well.

We bought these furniture anchors after our toddler discovered that dresser drawers make a great ladder 😅 and it honestly gave me anxiety. These were exactly what we needed.Installation was way easier than I expected. The instructions were clear and I had everything installed in under 15 minutes with just a drill and screwdriver. The straps feel really sturdy and once they’re in, the furniture does NOT move. I tried pulling on the dresser myself and it stayed completely solid.The straps aren’t super long but they’re adjustable enough to fit different setups without issue.We don’t live in an earthquake area, but knowing these are rated for that kind of weight definitely makes me feel better about how strong they are. Everything feels way more secure now and I don’t worry as much when my kid starts climbing on stuff (even though we try to stop it).Overall, these are a must-have for baby proofing. Solid quality, easy install, and peace of mind. Would definitely recommend to any parent with curious little climbers.

I ordered these “1000 lbs. Furniture Anchors” because we live in So California, aka earthquake country, and we are retrofitting and adding safety features to our home this winter. This new heavy duty version has a new weight capacity of 1,000 pounds, and that makes me super confident in its strength. The one piece L shape wall anchors with heavy-duty thick material were super easy to install. The thick nylon straps are durable and long-lasting and come with an adjustable anti-slip buckle. All of that adds up to a functional, secure anchor that screams “safety”. We’ve used these on several pieces of furniture and plan to order more. Priced at about $25, these are an excellent value for the money and it’s hard to put a price on your family’s safety. These are a favorite product of our household.
