Excellent Product, High Quality, Well Designed
This is a wonderful product to “perch” a young child at a counter or end of a table in place of a high chair. Though it was used for a 7 month-old, it would have easily accommodated a 2.5 year old. The mounting is easy. The cover can be removed and washed (in a washing machine if you wish) with a little bit of work after removing the seat plate velcroed into the bottom. The mounting mechanism is excellent and if done correctly, very sturdy. This model was chosen because there is a padded bar in front of the child, though the harness system would hold them back. Keep in mind that this may not work on a table where the ledge depth does not accommodate the mounting requirements. They do not provide any information on that limitation/requirement. At least 8″ is needed.

So happy with this purchase!
We spent a lot of time researching which travel chair would be best for us, and I am so glad we made the decision to buy this one! It is very sturdy and stable, the 5 point harness is strong and will prevent any child from lifting themselves out of the chair, and it is SOOOO easy to install. We traveled with it for the past week and were abe to hook it up everywhere we went – inlaws house, restaurants, islands, bars, outdoor tables. Everywhere we went people commented on how great it was, and our petite 7 month old girl was so happy in it. It is plenty big for her to grow into, but also provides enough stability for a smaller 5-6 month old. It doesn’t gap away from the table like the Inglesina does and instead has a nice padding there for comfort. The under-table arms are nice and short, so it doesn’t need much edge to grab onto the way competitor chairs do! It is slightly bulkier than I expected, but it was still very easy to travel with and fit into our checked bag. When folded down for traveling, it is still about 6 inches thick, but much easier to travel with than a standard high chair! We would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

Baby Loves to be Part of the Action
I’m giving this 5 stars even though it sadly does not work for our table. We have a big old table with a heavy duty apron all around the outside that falls at just the wrong place so that we can’t attach the Perch either in front of or behind it. Sooo it won’t work for all tables.HOWEVER, my kid LOVES this thing. We attach it to the counter at home so he can watch us cook from a safe distance and we can hand him little scraps to eat. He can also sit in it and play with toys while being contained when I have to do a little bit of work on my laptop at home. We recently took it on a family trip and attached it to Grandma’s table for breakfasts with the family, which was awesome. He really liked being at the table with his cousins and being part of the family. For camping, it was great to quickly put him at the picnic table in his Perch and let his cousins safely entertain him while we set up the tent, porta-crib, etc.I actually wish we’d gotten a Perch before he was even eating solids because half the time we’re just using it to contain him somewhere that he can see what’s going on and be part of the family (even when we’re not eating). With the 5-point harness you could totally put any baby who’s comfortable sitting up in it and feel that they’re secure. We love that it is lightweight, but very sturdy, comfy for our baby, and very portable. We do use it with the silicone tray from the same brand, which came in especially handy for camping. The tray slides right into the carrying case with the chair, so very convenient.

Okay at best
This chiar was okay at best. While I did appreciate the cushioning on the back I’m not sure why they couldn’t put a little bit of padding on the whole chair as the side fabic was so flimsy an created an uncomfortable enviorment for my baby. Also, the way the legs attach is not the best, the chairs with the twist tight legs are much better as you can feel they are secure on whatever table you are using them on opposed to these set height chairs where if the table is not exactly in the range of one of the adjustable heights there is a little movement which makes me nervous about the safety of my baby. I ended up returning this chair and instead bought the Inglesina table chair and am so happy I did. It does all of the things this chair lacks, it has padding all around and the melange fabric of the chair is so soft and premium feeling/looking I know it is comfy for my baby, the twist tight legs make it so I know my baby is safe and secure no matter what table they are sat at and the chair has so much more. It even has a little pocket on the back which make it great to store our babies bib in and the carry bag is actually attached to the chair so I will never lose it and it tucks nicely in a pocket on the bottom of the chair. I would suggest skipping this chair and buying the Inglesina instead.

Best chair
We travel a lot and I was looking for a chair where we could pack (for a flight or drive) and use for the week where we would be staying. i purchased a few to try out. I love this chair- great quality, easiest chair to put together and hang, looks fabulous, easy cleaning, saves space, travel bag made packing easy. Caveats- nothing works for everything- has mounting limitations- not for rounded tables, nor those with a lip- fantastic for granite islands, this is a limitation of these hanging chairs- not this particular design. While this was the easiest one to set up, I wouldnt use it to take around with me to constantly set up and breakdown, too much of a hassle for me, the restaurant chairs or my lap is better. There is also a space between the table and the seat-disadvantage- food will fall on floor if it falls out of their hands, mouth or advantage- keeps the seat cleaner than other models I have seen and I prefer to clean the counter rather than a tray as it never stays on the tray anyway! However, it would be nice to see a tray attachment that extends over that gap if you wanted that option, instead of the silicone mat they currently offer as an extra.

We will never go back to our stand-alone high chair, in fact we got rid of our stand alone as soon as this arrived and we tested it for a week. It’s AMAZING for our lifestyle. Easy install and secure, it’s very sturdy and easy to take off the counter/table. Relatively easy to wash (air dry) and the protector in the front allows my baby to reach forward without pinching skin or fingers.

I made this purchase because I developed a hate for my current highchair (been through two kids) and I wanted something with way less of a footprint that was also portable. Then I found this beauty!First of all, the design is gorgeous and is the quality I would expect from Guzzie+Gus. It’s super sturdy and when I installed it I could lift my entire (very heavy solid wood) dining table with it.Second of all, the shipping was AMAZINGLY fast, like next day fast.10/10 recommend.

Initially I loved this chair. It fits our counter great, is lightweight and portable, and I looooved that it didn’t have the big footprint of a traditional high chair. After using it as our only high chair, I hate this thing and will be buying a different high chair for our primary one and use this one for travel. We’re doing baby led weaning, and this thing is an absolute beast to keep clean. The canvas fabric is awful because it doesn’t wipe down well. I’m pretty relaxed about germs and baby, but this thing gets disgusting very quickly. It’s not difficult to take apart and wash if you’re only doing it once in awhile, but it’s a mega pain when it’s your only high chair, especially since it needs to air dry so you’re stuck without a high chair in the mean time.I did buy the cover, and it didn’t fit. Come on guys….you had one job.I’m also disappointed that the padding under baby’s seat is not removable, so it gets more bunched up each time I wash it. The seat is also increasingly angled forward. So baby is sitting on lumpy padding and not sitting ergonomically at all.On the plus side, it feels sturdy, and I’ll probably keep the seat attached to our counter so baby has a place to sit when I’m doing dishes/food prep, as well as a travel chair.

So far so good. Iv had my 8 month old twins in them. Ones 18 lbs the other is 20. I also have had my 2 year old in it aswell he just hit 30 lbs. I like the seat. The only downfall in my opinion is the harness. It is kind of a real B**** to clip together with the kids flailing and grabbing and moving lol. Even with them being still it’s still kinda frustrating. Other than that it’s working good.
