How do I use Esembly Cloth Diapers?
The Inner organic cotton fitted diaper is the absorbent part. Snap Inner on baby then cover with Outer. The Outer diaper cover provides the waterproofing. Inner gets washed after each use, Outer can be used multiple times before laundering
How do I clean these cloth diapers?
After a decade washing 18,000 cloth diapers a week through our busy NYC diaper service we came up with a simple 4 step wash routine and PATENTED Washing Powder. Follow our instructions and cloth diapering is as easy as 2-3 loads of laundry a week!
How many cloth diapers do I need?
For full time cloth diapering we recommend having 24 Inners and 8 Outers. For part time diapering you’ll want to have approx 12 Inners and 4 Outers. General rule of thumb is to have 3 Inners for every Outer.
Are these cloth diapers bulky? Will I need to size up my baby’s clothes?
Esembly cloth diapers come in two trim fitting sizes to take baby from birth-potty training. They are the trimmest fitting natural fibers out there and will fit beautifully under baby’s clothing with no need to size up.
Do I need to use certain diaper creams?
It’s important when cloth diapering to use only “cloth-safe” diaper creams. Cloth Safe means the products will wash out and not cause permanent staining and build up. All Esembly Skincare products are specially formulated for use with cloth diapers.

Besides the bulkiness, these diapers are perfect for a beginner using cloth diapers. I bought nine they last me about a day and a half before I need to wash. I bought some liners to go in them overnight. Leakages minimal. The diapers are saturated when I go to change, but I guess that’s what they are for. They are pricey, but they are also good quality easy to clean in the washing machine in the sun will get stains out left behind and they are organic cotton. Overall, I am pleased and plan to buy more as I can afford them. I also have the cloth wipes to go with the set.

A lot more convenient than you might expect!
Fantastic reusable diapers, we were worried about the hygiene and stains on the diaper, but it was super easy to wash and came out looking new. Baby prefers this over single use synthetic diapers. Definitely a good pick for a crunchy parent.

Pros:Super cute design! We love the look of this Esembly outer compared to other diaper brands. We love that the Esembly Inner is 100% organic cotton. This diaper is easy to use and adjusts well with the snaps (see video). We also love that they are eco-friendly, especially that the Esembly outer is made of reusable plastic bottles.Cons:The outer isn’t organic cotton, so if that is something you are trying for – I would keep that in mind. Their inner washes better with their recommended laundry products (washing powder) – just to prepare you before putting your little one in their diapers without considering laundry options.

Worth the price!
At first, I was hesitant because of the price, but I am now addicted to everything Esembly!!! The material of the outers is top notch – WAY better than all the cheep ones I tried. Leakproof as long as you put them on right. The inners are super soft, too. Best part of it is they have excellent customer support. I had issues with washing due to hard water and now ALL my laundry gets so much cleaner with less effort from me! Just got a bunch of size 2! Size 1 has lasted 7-8 months with a 50th percentile baby. You can resell them used for most of what you pay, and/or use for other babies. Inserts make poop cleanup a breeze after starting solids!

They are okay,for the $ I feel there are better options
ProsThese are a good cloth diaper, high quality and decent absorbency.ConsEven if washed immediately with stain spray, they stain really bad.They are super bulky, they state you don’t need to size up but yes, you probably will.They hold moisture next to babies skin and so you will have a fussy baby as soon as they pee once.These are very expensive, the cost does not equate how good they are. I am going to try a few other brands and styles now.

I bought these for my first baby to try cloth diapering with! They have beautiful patterns and seem like they are high quality material. I like how this try it kit includes washing powder to prep the diapers for the first time. It is a shame they got rid of the skincare samples in the updated try it kit though. They are expensive so I have high expectations for them being worth it.

We’ve been using these for the last few months with our little one, and they are wonderful! I was looking for an option to cloth diaper that was affordable, simple, and used organic cotton. Essembly hits all those marks! They fit great, are easy to launder, and give me peace of mind about what’s on our little one’s skin. No blowouts in sight yet. Not to mention they are saving us money! One of my favorite registry items.One note- they do feel pretty wet when you change, because the fabric isn’t moisture wicking. I still use disposables overnight so they don’t wake little one up…but that’s just a personal preference.

Love these diapers. Fit a lot longer than the range said, wash well, are cute and trim. Easy to change too! Downside is dry time but, that was a given with this style of diaper.
