Installation & Use Guide
1. Clean – Wipe the cabinet door with a lint-free cloth and suitable cleaner; surface must be oil-free, dust-free and completely dry before sticking.
2. Pre – heat (if cold)-If room temperature is below 59 °F (15 °C), warm both the adhesive and the door with a hair-dryer for 10–20 s to boost bonding.(The adhesive performs best between 59 °F and 100 °F)
3. Stick – Remove the backing and press the lock in place at once. Use your palm to apply firm, even pressure for 10s to ensure the adhesive bonds fully.
4. Cure – Do not touch or use the lock for 24 h. Adhesive reaches 90 % strength after 48 h and full strength after 72 h.
5. If the lock is not the right size for your cabinet, the adhesive may not bond securely—please review the product dimensions before purchasing.

Works great keeping 2 year old grand son out of the laundry area that has bi folding doors. He knows how to unlock them but they are 5 feet up and he can only do it when I hold him up there . Yes he is a smart kid 🙂

Perfect for keeping my cat away from household chemicals. Easy to install and easy to manipulate with creaky old fingers. I’m skeptical that it would keep a determined toddler with opposable thumbs out though.

Perfect for an unconventional use, but maybe not for the intended.
I need to preface that I’m not using this for childproofing, I’m using it to hold a badly-designed fridge door closed to keep the cold air in. Though this set came with 4, I’m still on the first one, as it has lasted MUCH longer than the strap-style childproof locks I’ve been using in the past.I will say, the locking mechanism – the button underneath – broke !very! quickly… faster than even the strap-style locks. This makes it perhaps not great for actual childproofing and would warrant going through all four in a short period of time.However since I don’t have a tiny felon in my house trying to get into things, all I need is for the lock to hold the door shut, and it only needs the swivel and hook to do that. Strap-style locks become immediately useless for this purpose when the button breaks. So to that end, it works like a charm! I would give it 5 stars if that’s what it was used for! But alas, it is not, so I’m docking one star for what I’m assuming is a flaw for its intended purpose.

Beware – Sent Used & Unusable Lock – Poorly Made
What I ordered was supposed to be a brand new package, but one of the cabinet door locks was beyond used and covered in gross hair and debris. Be warned you may receive a used product that isn’t usable. They also barely stick even unused, as I got them for my cat and he was easily able to open the doors I put these on even after letting them sit for a day or two. The surfaces were also cleaned beforehand. I can’t even imagine them working for a baby or toddler.

For the price it’s pretty good, but will not hold back moderate force.
TLDR: It works well to keep my dog out of the trash, but the adhesive it comes with is not strong enough to stop my girlfriend.My dog was pulling open the drawer my trashcan drawer in my kitchen and causing a mess every time I left. He was really good at pulling the whole bag out and ripping everything up. So i got this latch pack to lock it when I leave. I attached one to the drawer and another to the cabinet next to it and it has a 100% success rate. The latch clicks and is easy to use. It holds my dog back, but my girlfriend is a tad forgetful and has on many occasions pulled the drawer and popped. After the fourth or fifth time i added super glue and it’s worked like a charm.For the price these are great.

Using these on a bi-fold door we installed at the top of our basement stairs, where a conventional door will not fit. Daughter moved back home to the finished basement with her cats and we have to keep them separated from our dogs. Easy to install at the “fold” of the door and it keeps the door secure so that it can’t be easliy popped open by the one cat that wants to come upstairs and torment the dogs. We have one on each side at the fold so daughter can latch it when downstairs and the other side when upstairs. Think of the siamese cats in “Lady and the Tramp” for a mental image of what we might be dealing with… so these latches works well enough for our purpose. Having raised 4 kids, I wish there were available when they were small – would work really well for their intended purpose. They stick well with 3m pads pre-applied.
