A lot of nifty smart features
In order to set it up, you will need to download and install their app on your mobile device. From there, you would need to create a new account and then connect the camera to your WiFi. Setup wasn’t too bad and they walk you through it step by step.The image quality I got through my phone was pretty good. You can tell you’re getting the full HD 1080P rather than 720P from the cheaper cameras.The design is kind of interesting. You get the main orb and the actual lens part is another orb that’s attached off center to the main orb. It can pan and tilt and all that stuff. It also has built in music as well as educational audio lessons. A nice touch is that it has a projection on the top of the orb so you can project stars and the moon to the room’s ceiling.I was skeptical of the “smart” functions. It said it can see the baby’s heart rate through its camera, but I tested it and it worked pretty well! It’s also got a whole host of other tracking stuff built into the app, so it’s nice that you get a device that tracks heart rate, sleep, and detects crying.Overall, I’m impressed by the smart features!

Great video and monitoring
The video quality of this monitor is great, I like being able to monitor my baby’s heart rate and get sleep patterns without needing an accessory like a sleep sack or foot band. It was easy to mount in the wall on I can change the view very easily. It gives me peace of mind when my baby is sleeping. The only thing I wish was that I could have a parent unit that wasn’t on my phone. I prefer it when I have family babysit and don’t want to make them download an app to monitor the baby as he sleeps.

Inability to set up and multiple errors makes this monitor useless
This monitor is great when it works, but connecting it is a nightmare. If you unplug it you’re basically out of luck. There’s no customer support and we’ve had multiple nights of just not being able to use it. We had to give up and buy a different one. Not worth it.

Could not get it to pair with the app
Created an account on the app. Tried to pair and connect it multiple times and it always fails. There is no customer service chat available – it gives an error. I could never connect to the camera.-Comes with an installation guide.-If left on for long time, it heats up.-Camera doesn’t have a battery.-There is a sd card slot.- There is also a night light that can be turned on with the button, it turns off automatically after couple of mins.

Clear quality and easy to use, responsive app
This baby monitor works well just as expected and gives me peace of mind. It was easy to set up and feels very nice with a good weight, good quality and durable material. I’m impressed with the quality of the camera and videos too, they’re very clear and not grainy, laggy, or pixelated. The camera can rotate 360 and move up and down, which are also nice movement features but I have it positioned in front of a wall looking downward so don’t need to use that 360 but I appreciate that it can catch different angles. I can control its movement from the app too so no need to manually rotate it. I can also select the area of focus on the app and toggle different features on. The app is user friendly and responsive, unlike others that I’ve tried. I like that it’s not subscription based and don’t need to pay a premium or monthly fee to use the playback features, since it’s reading from the internal memory card. It’s a smart camera and I tried the heart beat monitoring but didn’t care much for it since it’s not accurate and not consistent if the camera is positioned from a distance. I like it for the clear video, two-way audio, mic, sound machine (very cool inclusive feature!) and app notifications/tracking. I’d consider something more closer to the baby or wearable if heartbeat monitor is important, but not for me. Overall, good quality camera and works how I expected. Battery life is good, no issues so far. The price is competitive for all the features so I recommend it for all new parents or second-third-fourth-etc. parents. Hopefully it lasts so I don’t need to replace!
