Well-made and feels durable. Easy to install.
Feels very sturdy and well made. I ordered it to anchor my daughter’s dresser to the wall to prevent it from tipping over and this did the job perfectly. At least based on my experience, I fully expect the wall will give out before the anchor does.

Simple, functional, easy to remove for cleaning, requires careful mounting
It’s a simple design, and works, but you have to be careful how you mount it. Since there is no way to take out the slack in the cable like some other anti tip devices offer, you have to make sure there is no slack between where it gets mounted on your furniture and the wall, otherwise if there is slack there is the potential for the cable to get shock loaded during a tip where the forces on the cable would exceed what it’s rated for. The pins make it easier to remove than other styles for cleaning, but the mounting options are greatly reduced when safely mounting it (in a way that prevents shock loading during a tip).

After a close call with a tall bookcase and my kid nearby I stopped putting this off and picked up an anti-tip kit. Should have done it sooner honestly. This one handles up to 400 lbs which covered everything I needed to secure in the house including a large dresser, a bookcase, and a heavy wardrobe that had always made me a little nervous.Hardware feels substantial. Not the flimsy stamped metal you get with some of these kits that bends if you look at it wrong. The straps and brackets have real weight to them and once everything is installed you can give the furniture a firm push and feel confident it’s not going anywhere.Installation is straightforward. Find a stud, get the wall bracket in, attach the furniture side, connect the strap and snug it up. Takes maybe ten minutes per piece once you have a rhythm going. The included hardware covered what I needed without a trip to the hardware store which is always appreciated.400 lb rating gives you a lot of flexibility. This isn’t just for lightweight stuff, it’s genuinely rated for large heavy furniture which is exactly where the real risk is. Peace of mind goes up considerably when you know the rating actually matches what you’re securing.Not a glamorous purchase but one of those things that just needs to be done especially if you have kids or live in an area prone to earthquakes. Set it, forget it, and stop worrying about it.
