Such a convenient size for travel. Four stars because it’s not as accurate as the air thermometer but it’s better than trying to wait for the temperature to read on a screaming child when trying to take temperature in the mouth or under the armpit.

Love this! Very accurate. More accurate than the temporal they use at the hospital. Easy to use. Don’t have to even touch the child or fight to get a temp reading via the ear or underarm. Great price. Easy to read in the dark so you don’t have to turn the lamp on. Quality is great and comes with a good quality holder. I have had it for awhile and haven’t had to replace the battery yet.

We like it, it seems to work. If you get the temp where the hair was it might read really high but if you do it where nothing was covering the forehead it works well. Nice to have an easy way to read a new baby’s temp without bothering them too much
