Perfect Little Sound Machine — Powerful, Portable, and So Worth It
I absolutely love the CHICWAY Portable Sound Machine! The sound quality is surprisingly rich and soothing for such a compact device. It has a great variety of sounds (white noise, fan sounds, and calming nature options), and none of them sound tinny or repetitive like some other machines I’ve tried.It’s super easy to use, holds a charge well, and is perfect for travel — we’ve used it at home, in hotels, and even on the go with kids. The volume range is excellent too: loud enough to drown out background noise, but gentle enough for sleep.I also really appreciate how lightweight and well-made it feels. Awesome invention!!! That stops working after a few months…
I’ve just started using the product and so far, it is pretty straightforward. Instructions are easy to follow and understand. The product is a great idea that hopefully works well for my family. It is compact, so great to travel with or for daily use out of the house. Attaches easily to crib, stroller or car seat. And can easily be removed. I love that it has multiple sounds to choose from and I can record my own voice. My favorite feature is the cry detection and auto mode that enabled your own voice to soothe. As long as it functions well and as expected, I give it a 5/5 rating! I wish this was around for all my other children.The one complaint: when it begins to die, it has an intermittent beep that wakes the baby up. It would be far better if it just shut off or a light flashed… anything but an annoying beep when you’re least expecting it.UPDATE!After about 5 months of use, it stops holding a charge. I have to keep it plugged in when in use to keep it on. It used to work for 2 days worth of daily naps and 12 hour nights before needing to charge. Now it won’t hold a charge at all.When plugged in to charge, it glows red until it’s fully charged and then glows green. It’s very bright in my baby’s dark room which is very inconvenient since he sleeps better in the dark.When purchased, I submitted for the warranty but never received confirmation. I have contacted the company via Amazon as well but I have not received a response.I wouldn’t buy this product again. Bummer because I really wanted to love it.

I’ve bought this twice and have had too many issues
I’m not one to right negative reviews but I’ve bought this thing TWICE, thinking it was something I did for it to break but I’ve had the same issue and more TWICE now. I like the brown noise it has but it’s not loud enough for that one sound. The rest of the sounds are fine and loud enough. However, the button got stuck on the first one I purchased and I could not get it unstuck and something inside of it came loose and rattled every time I turned it on so I had to just throw it away because it kept cycling through the sounds and rattling loudly. The second something inside of it broke again and makes that terrible rattling sound. When the battery is low it will beep LOUDLY and won’t last through the night so it would wake my baby up in the middle of the night when the battery was low. I kept it plugged in after that but if you leave it on and plugged in it will cycle with bright red light to green light flashing which also would wake the baby up. I’m purchasing a new different kind today because I can’t take the crackle rattling and light flashing anymore. Very disappointing because the reviews seemed so promising. 🙁

Poorly made
This sound machine is easy to use with a great battery life that looks very cute HOWEVER the poor mechanics of it started showing about 3 weeks in. The volume buttons started inconsistently working, making it frustrating when using it. Sometimes the volume buttons would work normally and sometimes you would have your press the button a hand full of times for it to work. Several days after this problem occurred one of the volume buttons lost its resistance causing it to not work at all.. so it is now stuck on a very low volume setting, making the machine useless now.Overall this sound machine will do the trick if you cannot find another machine in a pinch however long term I would not get this sound machine.Pros:-Good variety of sounds, good sound quality, it’s ability to add your own voice as a sound mode, light up mode for a nightlight and its ability to wirelessly connect to your phone via Bluetooth to play your own music.Cons:- volume button issues, feels cheaply made and even in the “locked” mode you cannot keep it on one sound. It rotates through the different sounds the machine has.

It’s a fine sound machine
Great sound machine. I deducted a star because the cry detector doesn’t always work right. It would come on if I started talking or if the baby banged on the crib, but not always when the baby cried. We still use it, I just don’t bother with the cry detector function.

My husband and I love this product. Before, we had a device for music and a different one for a nightlight. Have it all combined in one thing is the way to go! Plus, it’s pretty compact so it’s easy to bring with you on trips or on-the-go. It offered a handful of different songs and also different types of white noise. The brightness can also be turned up or down. We keep it all its lowest light setting and it’s works best for us. It’s not too light but enough so that I can check on my little ones in the night or breastfeed without having to turn on a different light. Another great feature is that it can lock so you can’t change any settings, sounds, volume, or light. So if your little ones get to it, they won’t be able to do anything with it. It also saves your settings so you don’t have to adjust the volume, brightness, and noise every time you turn it on. The battery life is not fantastic but it’s not the worst. We just keep it plugged in majority of the time.
