Good to use or for shower gift.
I have suction bowls as well but like that this has a low bowl and big flat area for self feeding foods. I don’t put baby food from containers in the bowl … she’d have her hands in it in 2 seconds!! The suction holds well on highchair tray. Cleans up easily.

Baby can’t toss his plate now
I tried 2 other suction plates but my son was easily able to lift them and toss the food on the floor. This OXO suction plate works amazing! I bought two, to have an extra one at my mother in laws house. Worth every penny and my son can’t lift it and toss his food. Fits perfectly in our high chair. It also works on a wood table which is what my mother in law has.

Game changer
I wish I knew about this with my oldest. What a game changer. I’ve been using this for a few months and it still looks brand new. My 1 year old has figured out how to lift up the edge and release the suction but that isn’t anything that can be helped. If he picks it up by the plate itself, it will not come off. My husband even has issues removing it from the high chair at times. Ha.It cleans really well I use unscented bottle soap so it doesn’t get the “soapy” taste that some silicone plates can get.Textured area is amazing for babies developing grasp and trying to pick up foods that usually are difficult to grab on high chair surface alone.

I purchased this after buying A TON of a more expensive baby suction plates/bowls. This actually sticks to the high chair and the ridges make it easier for learning hands to grasp the food. Definitely recommend!
