Works very well if you understand the instructions
First of all, this was delivered less than an hour ago. We decided to test the repeatability of the measurements and compare the reading with our ancient digital thermometer. The old one takes 3 minutes to give a result.The instructions for setting the voice on or off were easy to understand. Also the instructions for choosing Fahrenheit or Celsius.Where I got confused was on actually using it. You need to wait, after you have turned it on to use it after set-up, until the display says Lo or the voice says “please measure”.If you put it in your mouth before that, you will have to wait about 36 seconds, instead of 10 seconds, to get a result that may not be repeatable within 1 degree. You can also put it in before the Lo displays and get a faster than 10 seconds but about 2 degrees out of the median measurement. That result can vary by a couple of degrees.If you wait until the thermometer say Lo or the voice say “please measure” the repeatability is within 0.4 degrees on the five measurements we did under those conditions.I was ready to return it until I realized the problem was user error. Ironically, there is a very large display, but the instructions are in a very small font. The instructions could be much more clear with better formatting.

easy to read no case w product
nice fast easy to READ IF YOUR OLD LIKE ME. LIL PRICEY BUT NICE FEATURES THOUGH I DONT NEED IT TO SPEAK YET. i did find it annoying there is no plastic protective case so i recycle the other therm cover that died and it sorta fits at least cover 60% w tip of therm.
