Thick plastic with “ok” ziplock seal and construction
First off with the negatives:- Thick, thick plastic that still feels like it’ll burst at the seems. I question durability on the build entirely with more explanation to follow.- Zip lock seal are the thin, cheap style/build. Add to that the bags are the same size as other brands but labeled for 7 oz. I will tell you milk expands and the bags should be filled at 6oz. Destined to leak at 7 oz, let alone the “meh” zip lock seal.Positive:- The bags held liquid (water) on testing. Thicker plastic meant the bag could stand up a little easier, but not by much.Yea…I can’t really recommend these bags for storing the milk gold for your baby… A lot of things wrong, just not a warm fuzzy.

Good bags, but difficult to pour into without getting milk on the top
My wife and I have four children, and she has either breastfed or exclusively pumped all of them. We have used hundreds of breastmilk storage bags. She has pleasantly seen improvements to the bags over the years. You would think that the features of these storage bags would be pretty basic and there wouldn’t be much you could add to improve the user experience, but when it comes to breastmilk, every little bit helps and could make the difference between tears over spilt milk or not.That being said, my wife said when she looks for storage bags, she’s looking for 1) it can stand by itself, 2) it doesn’t leak, and 3) you can easily pour milk into the bag without spilling. (In other words, it’s all about NOT losing any breastmilk.) These bags meet almost all those requirements: there is a gusset at the bottom of the bag that allows it to stand on its own (with milk in it). The bags are sealed until ready to use. They don’t leak and have a double “zip” seal at the top to prevent leakage.The only part she found very slightly annoying was the top. There is a large amount of plastic above the sealed part of the bag that she found difficult to navigate around when pouring the milk into the bag. She ended up getting some of the milk fat on that top part and then had to wipe it down. It’s super minor and she could probably get used to it over time, but she said that she would make that part a little shorter so it was easier to pour the milk.Also, the surface of the bag was a bit slippery so the Sharpie ink didn’t write on super well. Not a huge deal, just a note.That being said, these bags are comparable to the other competitors on the market.
