I purchased this for a fine motor activity for my special needs students. I love that the center part moves and makes it easy for my students to have success placing the blocks on.

Better than most. The pegs that you put the shapes on are tied to the base which makes it better. My grandson had another similar toy and the pegs were glued to the base and broke easily.
