I purchased this bag when I was traveling with my infant son. I will start off by saying that I thought the quality of this bag exceeded my expectations. The canvas material is very thick and durable. The zippers are wide and sturdy. The straps are attached very well and have a thick, durable strap material. I purchased a stroller bag from my stroller’s manufacturer and was very disappointed in the quality. Based on the quality of this car seat bag, I wish that I would have purchased a stroller bag from this manufacturer as well.I was able to easily fit my Chicco Key Fit 30 Infant Car Seat and Base into this bag. It seems as though this bag is likely constructed for a convertible or forward facing carseat, but I was able to fit my infant car seat into it without too much of a struggle. I just popped the carseat into the base and then put the entire thing in the bag. I was able to easily carry the carseat on my back and push the stroller or pull the suitcase. The straps make it very manageable. We have a Britax Marathon Convertible Carseat and I tried it out in the bag…fit in easily.I took a previous reviewers advice and was able to an additional bag in with the carseat in the bag (i.e. a bag of toys/extra diapers that I didn’t want to have to sacrifice other luggage space for). If you put anything inside, I would highly recommend not leaving it loose, just in case the zippers are opened/come loose during transit. I would put it in a bag and then probably loop the straps of the bag to the carseat somehow (i.e. loop straps through the carseat buckles). I did this and didn’t end up with anything missing.Of note, at the time of this review, you should not have to pay extra to check a carseat nor does it count towards any free luggage allowance. I will tell you, at different airports it came out at different baggage claims. Once it came out with the normal baggage and once it came out in oversized items. If you can’t find it with the regular baggage, check the oversized area.Edit: We’ve had this bag over 2 years, with two kids and three carseats and it’s still doing great. After about 10 flights, there are a few small ‘wear and tear’ holes in the canvas, but they are small and not enough to be a problem. We’re still very pleased with our purchase.

Good car seat travel bag!
Perfect! Fit the Cosco scenera extend car seat with extra space to spare. Wish there would have been a bit more padding but luckily no damage from being checked came about. Straps were also very sturdy and the bag was overall very durable. Seemed to be quality made.

Fits my evenflo revolve 360 extend to perfectly. The instructions and size checker were uncertain but we took the chance. Easy to use. Sturdy. Very thick- protected the seat well.

Almost perfect travel bag but does not the fit Safety 1st Air Carseat
I recommend this backpack carseat travel bag to other parents constantly. It is so hard to maneuver toddlers in a stroller, all of the luggage and the children’s carseats through the airport and I find this bag to be the perfect solution. Both my husband and I wear one of these carseat backpacks on our backs through the airport with our toddler’s carseats in them. This leaves us hands free for one person to wheel the carry on suitcases while the other one pushes the tots in the double stroller through the airportTravel tips:- you can store extra items with the carseats in these travel bags! I usually include a bag of diapers, , extra jackets, blankets, and stuffed toys for the kids on top of the carseat in the bag so that I don’t have to overload my carry on luggage with it. Just be sure that the extra items that you store with the travel bag are light enough so that it does not add a lot of extra weight to the backpack and hurt your back as you wear it through the airport. As long as I just include some light clothing items and some diapers along with the carseat in this bag, as a woman, I have no problem carrying the weight of the bag through the airport.- If you aren’t gate checking your carseat in this bag you can also take it onto the plane. Just remove the carseat for use, and simply fold the bag in half and put it in the overhead bin containing the few extra items (clothes, diapers etc) that you put inside it. I find this to be so helpful as it is often difficult to find places in carry on luggage for everyone’s jackets, extra toys and changes of clothing that you want to have handy during the flight.- Though most carseats fit in this bag with no problems, some oddly shaped carseats, like the Safety First Air do not fit in this bag because the wings by the headrest of the carseat stick out too far for the bag to be zippered closed. However, although we have a Safety First Air seat, we still use this travel bag with it by zipping the bag up as far as it will go around the carseat and by using a bungee cord around the travel bag to ensure that it doesn’t fall out of the bag when we wear it through the airport. (However, I would only do this bungee cord solution to wear the bag as a backpack through the airport. I would not trust gate checking or checking as luggage the carseat in this bag with only the bungee cord to hold the seat in the bag).We have used two of these travel bags for countless trips and have had no problems with the bag ripping or getting holes. The travel bag is also very well padded on the inside and it has protected our carseats from any damage through countless trips. Our toddlers sleep so much better on the plane in their carseats and without these backpack travel bags I have no idea how we would manage to get the children, carry on bags and two carseats through the airport and onto the plane. I am usually asked once per trip to the airport where I got these bags by other parents who are struggling horribly to carry their carseats and luggage through the airport. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Snug Fit For EvenFlo Revolve
The quality of this car seat bag is great. It has ample padding in it to protect the car seat. The bag itself is light weight and the fabric is super durable. We used it for 3 flights now and it held up perfect, not a single mark on it. My only issue with the bag is it is just a tad too small. We have the Evenflo Revolve car seat and we were able to get it into the bag, but it took some serious effort to get the zippers closed. One more inch and the bag would be perfectly sized to fit our car seat.

Protected our chicco 360 car seat well!
Great protection for our Chicco 360 car seat! It made the car seat much easier to carry through an airport or set on top of our luggage. It got a little banged up and has only been on one trip but it kept my car seat safe! I also liked the hack of adding some stuff to the inside of the bag since our car seat was free to check in at the airport! We put our son’s blanket and winter coat in once we arrive to the airport since we were headed from snowy weather to Florida! Overall works good and hope that packing tip helps someone in the future’

I really enjoyed the Backpack Car Seat Bag for my travels. It was just right for the airplane storage (I had the toddler car seat). It’s not really a bag. It’s more like a car seat cover, which has a zipper that zips all around the car seat. Also, it has padding on the inside for your back, when carried.

Travelled international with this and it worked perfect. Love the straps – do not get one without the backpack straps, I don’t know how people manage with their baby and all their gear without wearing the car seat on their back.No damage after 12+ hours of travelling one way (and then also return). Used on 4 flights total for our trip.Fits the nuna pipa car seat perfect (with the roll bar in the up position). Excellent for the price would definitely buy again.For comparison we bought the doona padded stroller cover for our nuna stroller and while it did protect the stroller well and found it easy to use , the stitching ripped on the shoulder strap after the first 3hr leg of our trip (the bag cost $100 compared to this cheap unpadded one)

Very handy carrier bag for car seat, the bag is somewhat large, but it still makes it so much easier to transport the seat around. Padding on all sides apart from the top means that I now feel much better about checking in the car seat at the airport as well without it coming out all bruised and battered on the other side. It also comes with a strap to fold the bag with, handy for storing. Have only used it on one trip so far, but looks like a durable material and has plenty of space for my car seat (I have a Group 1 car seat).
