No one likes having their temperature taken in this manner, but it does the job. We actually bought the two pack because one is for the dog, if we have need to get his temperature (because this is the only way you really can with an animal). Gives a reading quick, which is nice for everyone involved.

Bought 2 packs, which is 4 Thermometers…. Not one is working properly; cant switch to Celsius, all 4 show different temperatures when used in the same period.

Fast Reading
The Boncare digital thermometer comes as a two-pack with instructions and batteries already installed. These can be used for babies or adults. The instructions are a little hard to understand, but basically after pressing the button to turn it on, it shows the last temp, and then it displays “Lo.” You can then put it under your tongue or wherever you are taking a reading, and it will make a quick series of beeps when it has reached a stable reading. It is really fast. The ad says it takes about ten seconds. I confirmed with a stopwatch it takes just ten seconds. I’m running a low-grade fever and compared these two thermometers with an old one I have and got three slightly different reading, but at least the Boncare thermometers were very close to one another, and they all showed I had a fever.

Do not use orally – chirps (to say done) before reaching actual temperature.
Do not use orally – chirps (to say done) before reaching actual temperature. E.g., said 99.6 when the actual fever temperature (if wait 3-5 minutes after the “done” chirp) was 101.8. When I tested rectally, it reached temperature quickly on an adult. I didn’t have a baby handy to practice on.
