We purchased this as a second base for our baby’s car seat so we’d have a base in each of our cars. It’s a great quality base that is user friendly. It’s easy to install into both of our cars and easy to install the car seat into. The leg feature provides extra safety and security for our baby girl while driving in the car. Very pleased with how it fits and functions in both our Prius and Pathfinder.

Works with Aria
Works with UppaBaby Aria car seat!As far as i can tell, it’s the same base as what came with my Aria EXCEPT:1) color of plastic – this is gray and black vs the Aria base is all black probably to better match the Aria colors.2) the expiration on my Aria’s base is ~2yrs later (im guessing these bases are older stock because the Mesa Max is now discontinued).3) the Aria base’s bubble level has dedicated markings for 0-4months range, vs on this base those markings are absent (i suspect related to why the Mesa Max was discontinued). Markings aside, the level appears geometrically identical, and since I have both bases I just copied the 0-4 markings over with a sharpie.4) the Aria base is way more expensive (again probably because Mesa Max is discontinued).Other than that the dimensions, materials, and instructions appear to be identical.Note – the Mesa Max is only discontinued, NOT recalled.

Perfect for our Second Car
The perfect addition to our second car so we don’t have to stay the seat in with the seatbelt! Extremely easy to install with the new click system … we didn’t have to pull the straps and try to tighten! And the added load let for safety gives us such a piece of mind while traveling with our little peanut!
