Please be within the Bluetooth range, tap the device on the Govee Home app—>tap the settings icon on the top right of the graph page—>set the alert range.

It can be shared with family. Please connect the wifi temperature sensor to 1 Govee account, then log in with the same Govee account on multiple phones.

Don’t use the thermometer outdoors, in a freezer, or in an environment with a low temperature or high humidity (over 80% when water is in a condensation state).
Does it work with 5G Wi-Fi, and will there be issues with losing connections?
No, it only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks. The product quality has improved, with an extended battery life and resolved connection interruptions.

Bought this for the bird room so we can make sure her heater and humidity are appropriate. Works well, syncs to my phone and can be seen at night on her camera. Accurate WiFi Thermometer
WiFi thermometer works great. We use this in a second home to make sure the heating system is working. Easy to pop on the Govee app and see the temperature at any time. The temperature is either the same or within 1 degree of the wall thermostat. Looks nice setting on a table and an affordable solution for peace of mind.

Cannot be remotely monitored!!!
Very disappointed with this. We bought this as it was marketed as being able to be connected to WiFi so that we could monitor the LIVE temperature of a camper. Weusually leave our dogs in the camper with the AC on however in the last place we went to the AC breaker went off and the dogs were left without AC for 30 minutes.This was supposed to be a solution to that problem that would allow us too see if the temperature in the camper climbs while we are away so we can return before it gets too hot for them.However upon testing this thermometer, it connects to WiFi but will not update the temperature reading unless you are connected to it via Bluetooth. Therefore why market it as a wifi thermometer that can be monitored remotely if it can only be monitored via Bluetooth?Our dogs would have been found suffering or worse if we had relied on this and the AC breaker goes off.I will say the temperature and humidity is accurate but it’s claims of remote monitoring are false. So the listing is inaccurate.
