Bought these to secure a very large mirror so that I did not need to worry about it near my grandson. They seem very sturdy and we made sure that they were anchored in studs. The design of them is easy to install.

A large shelf situated on carpet needed a somewhat flexible and removable anti-tip restraint so as items are added and/or removed from the shelf, the flex will move with the shelf’s up/down motion. This product offers the solution since it utilizes a cord. The cord appears to be strong enough after testing it with a good pull. There is enough room in the slot for two or three more cords if needed. The cord end is threaded and simply screws into the other end making removal very easy for vacuuming.
