Easy to install and hold up to 120 pounds of determined dog
I’m really happy with these cabinet locks. Our Great Pyrenees likes opening cabinets to play with the pots and the cheese grater, but unfortunately he’s not clear on how ceramics react differently with hard floors. 🙁 Sadly, we had to shut down his cabinet access, and these locks did the job well.I like that I can position them so that they self-close; I only need to press them down to open them. They operate smoothly, and I find them easy to use. They’re sturdy as well, and have stood up to inquisitive paws and nose. They latch firmly and snugly, and I found them easy to install. I was a little skeptical about how strong a stick-on lock could be, but they have stuck very firmly without any signs of wobble or peeling.

Short vs extended version
I have purchased both the short and extended version and here are my thoughts on both.Extended: longer arm length, mean more room for the cabinet to open before the latch catches. For us this meant more room for my toddler to open and potentially close on fingers. A pro I like is that they have a lock to keep the latch depressed so it doesn’t catch and can function normally. Great to have the option or when kids grow out of cabinet curiosity. Great design. Comes with screws and adhesive tape to be able to screw or just use tape. I have had no issue just using the sticker tape.Short version: less space so less room for open wing and closing on fingers. No lock hold tab so it is always “on”. No screws optionIf the lock option was on the short version that would be the ideal product. Over all easy to install even just by “eyeballing” it. I have found success in just using the adhesive. Stick on the lock arm first holding it in the spot and practice closing so you have just a small clearance gap. Then hold as directed to adhere. Then do the same with the holding tab and align where you want it to catch and then adhere.

Good Cabinet locks
These are so easy to set up! They function perfectly and keep my daughter out of cabinet and drawers. They are hard to remove but that’s a good sign of durability and stickiness of the adhesive. They are a really good size for a variety of cabinets or drawers.

Child safety
I recently purchased the Inaya Cabinet Locks Baby Proofing set, and I’m incredibly impressed! As a parent of a curious toddler, I needed a reliable solution to keep my little one out of cabinets and drawers — and these locks delivered exactly that. The installation was super easy — no drilling, no tools, and no damage to my furniture. The strong 3M adhesive holds firmly, and the locks feel secure even after weeks of use. They blend in well with my cabinets and are easy for adults to open, but completely child-proof.I love that this pack comes with 8 locks, giving me enough coverage for my kitchen and bathroom. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my child is safe from harmful objects.Highly recommend to any parent looking for a simple, effective, and mess-free baby proofing solution!

Low Visibility Option But Poor Quality
It was the system that I was looking for. I like that it’s an option you can’t see when the cabinet is closed. However, these broke really easily and the entire assembly would just fall apart. The adhesive was fairly strong and the plastic was breaking before the adhesive was failing. They were easy to install on the cabinets, but they didn’t fit the drawers right and I had to attach them creatively.

Great Investment at first but not for a problem solving toddler
These cabinet locks worked like magic when my toddler was two, they were totally effective at keeping drawers and cabinets off-limits. I felt much more at ease knowing he couldn’t access everything around the house. However, by the time he turned three, he’d figured out the mechanism and started popping them open easily. Now he can open just about any cabinet or drawer without much effort. Only way out is to make them adult-proof as well and use a fork/spoon to pop them open. So while they’re a solid safety solution for younger toddlers, consider them only a short- to mid-term fix once your child starts experimenting and problem-solving.5 Stars because they are effective, secure, and worth it for a while. Installation is super easy. But if you have a clever toddler who’s three or older, these may lose their effectiveness faster than you’d hope.

So much better than the Safety First version of this technology
We bought the Safety First brand of cabinet locks that function in a similar manner, at the same time. These ones from Inaya were about the same level of complexity to install, but we WAAAAAAY easier to actually use. The spring action means you are not bending brittle rigid plastic each time you need to open the cabinet. Rather, there is a light easy button to press, and that makes all the difference. The only possible down side is that these do NOT have a hole in them for adding screws. This may or may not be an issue down the road, if the 3M sticky material doesn’t hold well over time. For me, that is not a concern. I’ll just bust out a drill and make a small hole and use a leftover screw from the Safety First package, since we stopped using those when we tried these. So glad we found these! My spouse has thanked me multiple times for them, and still curses when using the one cabinet with the other brand installed on it.

Will adhesive hold?
Works well to keep my dog out of a kitchen cabinet.Installed easily with the adhesive provided, but I don’t know that I’d trust the glue if a child’s life depended on the lock’s secure attachment.

These were absolutely useless for me.If you have an overhang from your kitchen counter they don’t work.Even if they did the ones I was sent don’t have a way to disable as indicated in the installation video.Sad to be putting more useless plastic into the bin!

I’ve had them on cabinets for over a year and still holding on strong. The design doesn’t work well on corner cabinets or on cabinets that have a sink close to the edge because there isn’t room for the clip. But work great on regular cabinets.

Works great! Easy to install and keeps little hands safely out of cupboards and drawers. The adhesive is strong, and the locks hold firmly even when tugged hard. They blend in nicely and don’t damage the furniture when removed.A simple, reliable way to baby-proof cabinets, highly recommend!

I can’t comment on how useful these are at keeping out toddlers with opposable thumbs, but they work wonderfully to keep my cats out of the cupboard where I keep their food. They adhered strongly to the doors and roof of the cabinet, and don’t seem to be loosening with the force we open the door with or the desperate way the cats scrabble at the bottom for treats. The cabinets I used these on are under a sink, with no overhang, and two doors that open on hinges from the centre outwards. I installed the latch in the top centre corner of both doors and it worked a charm. If that’s your specific use, I think it will work well for you too.
