My daughter loves this. It brings back memories when I was a child and my mom taught me how to do the cats cradle , tea cup and saucer, crows feet (mentions as witches broom in the book), and Jacob’s ladder. It had a lot of activities with different levels of activity. Jacob’s ladder has the most steps. Great for use with friends also!

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It has been a good challenge for her, and she was so excited when she was able to memorize how to do the cup and saucer.Pros: Comes with pictures. String is sturdy.Cons: Readable instructions may be difficult to understand for younger kids.

I bought this as a gift for an 11 year old and she has had hours of amusement from it. The diagrams are really clear and colourful. I especially liked the fact that the book is spiral bound, so you can open to a page and it will stay there without closing again. This useful when your hands are occupied with the string! The included string is good quality and still going strong after many months – no fraying at all. I would definitely recommend this book; it’s a good, old fashioned pastime.
