Great for candy melt projects
I was looking at candy melt pots but they are so shallow, and I wanted one to make ch. dipped pretzel rods. This is perfect 👏 its deep enough yet small so your not having to put in a ton.. I did a test run with probably 15 wafers just to see if it would melt and not burn. It was on for about 30 minutes with that little bit of melts, and stayed nicely melted with minimal stirring, definitely a good purchase for what I wanted to use it for🥰 Also I only had mini pretzels to experiment with, as seen in the pictures.. but it will easily cover a long one when filled👍

Great to heat cheese dips
This mini crock pot heated up cheese dip well. I wish it had temperature control so you lower the temp after it reached hotness. The unit is hot to touch so pot holders had to be used. My unit did not come with a lock feature but that would be really nice too.

Takes a lot of tine to heat up but it stays warm and sauces are good.

Great for dips
Kept cheese dip warm for a couple of hours. All guests were very impressed! Used for artichoke dip as well, did the same thing. So glad I purchased it.

Like cooking with a warm light bulb….. The outer aluminum casing gets too hot to touch.. but the “stoneware pot” that sits inside.. I can lift, touch, and handle at ANY point with no fear of any burns. It’s a perfect size for what I need, just warming dips and soups, etc. I don’t think one could actually cook with this.To me, it’s exclusively for warming without the fear of burning the contents. It takes a good 20-30 minutes for the contents of the pot to get lukewarm. And roughly 40 minutes to be warm throughout (stirring occasionally). Contents never reach what I would call “hot”, or even close to hot. Which is fine for me. I wasn’t looking for anything more than a warming device. This just seems a tad slow in operation.There is no on/off switch. Plug it in, it’s on. Unplug it to turn it off. Would have preferred a switch.Instructions state it is NOT dishwasher safe, including the inner stoneware pot and its lid. Obviously the outer electronic shell/heater is not submersible or dishwasher safe. Instructions state if you are careful you can use a dishwater for the inner stoneware pot and lid, but the wording used (to limit liability it seems) clearly recommends hand washing.

Very nice and perfect size for dips. Keeps food very warm, there is no temp setting but I find it okay as you can simply unplug cord from outlet when it’s hot enough. The ceramic pot it comes with keeps the food very warm even after unplugging when dip is hot enough.
