Wonderful, subtle night light with a huge variety of sounds.
I bought this to use when my young son comes to snuggle up for the night with me instead of in his room. He falls asleep to rain or bubble sounds on a TV, so I wanted a device that had those as options so I could keep the TV off.Time Settings Work Great:This device as various timers (15 minutes, 30 minutes, etc) and, more importantly, a setting to keep it on indefinitely, which has worked flawlessly thus far.Color Settings and Brightness:The color settings are very extensive, and each is just bright enough that he’s not alarmed by the darkness without being so bright that it keeps me up (I prefer total darkness). Other night lights have definitely kept me up by shining so brightly that I can see it through my eyelids, so this one is great for that issue.Sounds:There are way too many sound settings to list (look at the product description for the full list), so it would be a feat to NOT find one that works for you and/or a child. Each sounds good without distracting distortions or background hissing. You can also adjust the volume.Portable:The design, size and USB plug design make this super simple to either move between rooms or take on a trip.Memory Feature:When you power the device back on the next night it actually REMEMBERS the exact settings you used previously. If you had it on magenta, with rain at a low volume set to stay on for the whole night, that’s what you get when you turn it back on.Durability:It’s been dropped and still works great. It’s a solidly constructed device.Great night light and noise machine, especially for the lower price point. Absolutely recommend!!!!

Wonderful mix of sound options that can all be adjusted with easy volume control. Works well to step away from white noise and have some nature sounds, or city sounds, or music. So much better than other options I’ve tried! I like the range of colors in the lighting. Small size will work in many spaces. Lightweight, so it’s perfectly portable room-to-room but I’ve never taken it traveling. Like other reviewers, I agree it would be great if the buttons could be backlit for easier visibility in dim light or darkness. It’s lasted well with constant use over the past year.

I had to replace my old sound machine and I am definitely happy with my purchase! Here’s what I love about this sound machine:-Instructions were straightforward.-MANY different sounds to choose from. I chose the thunderstorm sound for my baby and he LOVES it. He’s been sleeping longer since I got this!-Timer: I love that there are options for leaving it on for only a certain amount of time AND on a continuous loop.-Color: Love the colors. I personally use red.-Light intensity: I love that I can dim or brighten the light as needed.-No Wifi/Bluetooth: I don’t have wifi at home and I don’t want to use bluetooth for EVERYTHING. Having this be a simple plugin is amazing!-Size: I love that it isn’t bulky. It can easily fit on top of the nightstand in my baby’s room!So far the quality seems to be great! I would recommend this sound machine to anyone who asked!

Works great for my daughter. We were using Alexa for a sound machine and a night light. This is a great two in one. I only wish it rotated colors. Has great sound, with multiple different sounds. Easy to figure out and good size.

A nice sound machine
This machine is nice and does what it’s designed to do. I like the look of this device and that it lights up but I’m not a fan of the speaker being on the bottom since even on the lowest sound level some of the noises sound amplified and louder than I’d like, if the speakers were on the top or side I think the lowest sound setting would sound more quiet. I also don’t care for the fact that the device emits a constant light, I usually put a tiny journal on top of it to block the light. I like the sounds but the functionality could be better.

Good unit for the money
Lots of sounds, good sound quality, and lot of volume options. Lighting options are great from dim to bright and vibrant. Long power cord. Fits in a back pack as it is pretty small, and the buttons are clearly labeled. Good value, wife and I use it every night.

I was not expecting much because of the price but it works well. Love all the sound options and colors. You can have it play the entire night or a few hours. It definitely helped me get better sleep from loud neighbors.

ColorsNoise Sound Machine(Black top). 3.5 starsI bought this particular one because of the light and also because the variable sound options. I already have two white noise machines, but they play different kinds of white noise and fan noise only, and do not light up.I wanted to try something different to help with the terrible never-ending road construction outside my place which is unbearable.For the constant beeping of the trucks going in reverse I found that the babbling Brook sound played very loud as the most effective at combating that noise! But seriously, just as I’m writing this I started to notice that the track I like to listen to the best has developed a “chirping/beeping” sound. It’s extremely regular so I don’t know if that’s the loop or what has caused that. Very disappointing.The other disappointing thing is at the sound cannot be turned off completely as far as I can tell. You can get it extremely quiet but not silent. So you can’t use it as a night light only which would be a really good thing. Maybe that was in the description but I didn’t notice it.The other thing that I thought was a problem but it turns out it wasn’t was the brightness of the lamp. I thought it wasn’t adjustable. Admittedly, I know how most of these things work so I didn’t really pay much attention to the instructions, but I was pressing the light button on and off and that’s all it would do. I discovered by accident that if you press and hold the button when it’s on, the light will gradually dim and if you release it and press again and hold, it will gradually brighten so I’m very happy about that feature!Another surprising and disappointing thing is that the icons on the buttons do not light up !!! If you have the option to order this model somewhere, go for the white top not the black one. At night time you can’t see any of the buttons. You can see the circles, but not the function of each button.I can’t remember if I had the option of selecting a white one from this order, because I know I wouldn’t have selected black, given the choice.Overall a good item, I would have given it 5 out of 5 if these minor (but many) issues were remedied.
